Opioids Food-to-live poppy seeds

Has anyone ever tried to make a tea using this brand? How successful was it? I have been using poppy seed tea for years, mostly with It's Delish and Bob's Red Mill. I ordered some seeds that looked potent for cheap online and they totally sucked so I want to know if anyone has ever tried this kind(Food-to-live). I used google to no avail. Thanks

Yeah, we're not supposed to exchange vendors for some reason, as the forum has strict rules against sourcing. My advice would be to try a very small sample batch, or you could just contact the supplier and ask if they wash or treat their seed. If they're primarily a food company, the chances are they will. I've never bothered with poppy seed in my life as its a complete lottery; if you're really lucky, you may get unwashed seed that contain traces of opiate alkaloids, but this is becoming increasingly unlikely with ever-tighter food standards regulations. (At least in my part of the world).

You do realise there's nothing in the seeds themselves that can get you high, I hope...?
