I was just reading a scholarly article over d-MPH this morning! It is EXACLTY like ritalin in effects. Ritalin is d,l-MPH and Focalin is just d-MPH. The Dosage of Focalin is abou 1/2 Ritalin as it contains just the active isomer. The l isomer does tend to prolong the duration of effects though, through competitive inhibition at the active site. As far as recreation goes, if you find Ritalin recreational (I don't) then you will find Focalin recreational. Hopefully I helped answer your question

sorry to bring it back again, but i just got an Rx for it and my friend and i both tried 5mg's and loved it, lasted about 4-4.5 hours and was more euphoric than regular Ritalin, but less speedy, more relaxed and comfortable, but still energetic and awake, cleaner and smoother than Ritalin for sure.

I was thinking, If 20mg of Ritalin = 10mg of Adderall then 10mg Adderall = 10mg Focalin right? For me 10mg of Adderall is a bit stronger and lasts a little longer, however is more speedy/jittery and has a harder comedown..

anyone know what the deal with cost and availability in Australia. is it covered by PBS? cost about prescription drugs isn't against the rules is it.
