focalin(Dexmethylphenidate)

I've recently been put on this for my ADHD and i was wondering was the recreational use of this would be. its suppose to be just like ritalin and adderal so im guessin it would have a rec value. has anyone ever heard of this or currently using it? thx for replys
 
I believe that this drug took methylphenidate (Ritalin) and actualy captured the mirror image of it which they thought contained the actual attributes that caused patients to concentrate. I've never tried it but would like to.
 
It's the D-isomer of methylpdate, and therefore, twice as potent as ritalin. Very similar to ritalin in effects, not similar to adderall.
 
I've done it a few times. I enjoyed it. Unfortunately though I can't compare it to other ADHD meds, as I have very little experience with them.

I read in another thread that a lot of coke heads prefer focalin over coke. Dunno about that though...
 
Sounds like the name of the drug they gave Bart Simpson for ADHD on that episode of the Simpsons a few years back. That might have been "focasin."

and they injected marge and homer with valium. (except homer just got air)lol!!

Yeah, i'm going to have to disagree with you there K'Dout. And since when does drinking/booze cause a heart attack ? I heard withdrawls from benzos can cause seizure, but alcohol+benzo = heart attack ? I have been doing that since forever and never heard anything like that. Englighten me ?
 
yeah that doesnt even make sense....at all if anything ud pass out and never wake up, a heart attack would be highly unlikely
 
Dexmethylphenidate is similiar to methylphenidate except for an extra isomer or something but that makes it 2x's as strong as methylphenidate. like 5 mgs of dexmethyl is the same as 10mgs of methyl
 
focalin xr is a "break open" style capsule. The tiny beads can be crushed to a fine powder and snorted for a better than coke high. Even ritalin has always done more for me than coke when it comes to enjoyable highs. If you can get regular focalin over the xr, do so. It's easier to manipulate and you don't have hundreds of hard tiny beads flying everywhere!
 
yes i have used it, its like ritalin but 2x more potent (basicly like dexedrine) as many people are saying in the forum, crush that baby up and snort or parachute away! =D
