Fly agaric

My tits are famously perky - especially for a boy :D

I've never smoked it myself so couldn't be definite on dosage. Have known people smoke caps the size of dinner plates (not all at once) quite safely though. Did last rather a long time at that dose, mind. My plan is just to start with a good bongload and take it from there. The heat involved in smoking destroys any remnants of toxins that may survive the drying process, as far as I know. Drying converts the toxins to safe chems (the psychedelic ones you want) anyway. Also, the toxins aren't really all that toxic in muscarias - the Japanese use them as just another edible mushroom in food - not for tripping, just cos they taste yummy :)

Only time I ever did them, simmered 10g ground up in water for about 45 mins, drank(ate?) the whole batch. Was pretty fun, never really got the nausea everyone talks about, just felt really sedated/drunk.

I'm not sure if this is a common side effect, but my vision went to shit after like 3 hours. And not in a cool, trippy what-the-fuck-is-going-on kind of shit. Everything was totally out of focus; couldn't make out the details of anything farther than arms-length away...

Still fun, would definitely do it again. Just make sure you prep them right so all the ibotenic acid is converted to muscimol before ingestion.

Also, I recommend smoking lots and lots of pot with them; I think that may have been what made the experience so laid back and enjoyable. I never got any sense of the 'berserker' aspect people speak of.

Sounds pretty familiar to me - bit dozy, bit drunk, bit trippy, no beserking. My focus wasn't too bad though - visuals were very much like mild LSD visuals for me and that seems a pretty common experience for anyone I know who has used them.

dumb question: but is there anyway to test them for harmful bacteria that might have accumulated on them throughout their growth?

the package says "not for human consumption" now i know that is only so they can sell them legally but could their be other reasons on why they label it like that?

****i imagine boiling them would kill all the harmful bacteria but i really need another opinion before i try it because im not into dying :) ..not just yet.. ha jk ;)

It's not somertthing you need to worry about - as mentioned above, they are used purely as a foodstuff in Japan with no problem. Have never heard of anybody having any health problems from muscarias. You are right that the "Not for human consumption" thing is there purely for legal reasons and no other. Cubensis grow on turds and folks eat those all the time. Muscaria grows under trees - no shite involved.

I agree with your post except for the fact that you said that the JAPS use it in food...this may be right but i know for a fact they don't use high enogh dose to reach any sort of recreational high%)...but i could be wrong:|...i mean some people drink their own piss after consuming this drug so anything is possible at this point=D ha.

also: i dont think these mushrooms are LEGAL just because they do not grow on cow shit...that us just a pure irrational statement :)

<3

They are legal because they don't contain psilocybin, the main active chemical in illegal mushrooms. Shambles was talking about bacteria, I believe, not legality.

^ Yup. Shite has nowt to do with legality - they are legal most countries I am aware of be they bepooey or not :)

And yes, the Japanese do use them in cooking - purely for flavour, not trying to get high. They're delicious. I hate other mushrooms but would drink muscaria tea purely to savour the flavour. I did actually say that the Japanese only use it for flavour not as a drug too, mind ;)
