The red ones with white spots

One thing certain about fly agaric is that their properties have been known for many millennia, they feature strongly in the bible.... King Solomons castle in the chapter Revelations is strongly described in terms of red and white colours, and descriptions of sticks turning into serpents, blood coming from stones etc.. lead the trained mind in the direction of psychedelics

As u may know Amanita muscaria is toxic to humans however and induces violent stomach upset and vomiting, however virtually all ( 95% ) of the active constituent - muscarine is excreted by the original imbibee in their urine. As you also probably know, Reindeer LOVE to eat fly agaric mushrooms, and the local folk somehow sussed out that if they drank intoxicated reindeer piss they would get the hit but not the sickness... but in those days in lapland or wherever peoples homes were mud huts with front doors doubling up as chimneys, so gifts of a red and white variety were delivered thru the chimney by flying reindeer... don't know about you but the story sounds familiar to me can't quite put my finger on it tho

My only experience of fly agaric was smoking dried stuff, its quite wacky, you can feel the hit almost the split second you inhale but not very strong, ive never really fancyed risking the stomach upset tho....

anyone here got any experience of this religous mythical hallucinogen?
