So i've heard there's a documentary out there somewhere which has a part where two well train martial arts people fight and are basically equally matched. then one of them takes fly agaric and appears quite intoxicated but performs exceptionally well and easily out matches the other guy

does anyone know the name of this documentary and perhaps a link to it?

yeah from what i've read it sounds more like a deleriant and that doesn't seem to appeal to me but maybe i just haven't read enough experience reports or heard from the right people but if it has the ability to heighten the senses the way it sounds like it does from that documentary i may have more interest in it

I imagine that's why the guy won--not due to perception enhancement but due to fear reduction.

Sounds like a documentary I would really like, being myself a blackbelt in thinking about these kinds of things all the time.

that is always said, though I doubt if it's true. I've also read somewhere they used beer containing Rhododendron tomentosum or also deliriant nightshades.
