I lived in Fort Lauderdale more than thirty years and just moved back to Michigan. Don't miss it much- cost of living is very high in South Florida. I guess it's great if you have a lot of money and don't mind sweating your ass off every time you step outside. Plus most jobs in the public sector expect you to be bilingual at least in Dade and Broward. What prompted you to move, you have family there?
