Oh, and there's no such thing as a rave down here, the club scene is where its at.
 
pod - What clubs in Miami are chill and have laxed dress codes and what not.
 
Rain, and usually Liquid.
The rest it's pretty discriminatory...i.e. known locals are exempt, and the tourist is given the once-over, usually to discourage the moronic...most sensible tourists can at least argue with a doorman rationally.
My photos on .cooljunkie.are a good guide to dressing for each club.
It's the summer, too, so they are more relaxed as a whole.

If you have a car you can check out Karma in Tampa, but it´s a drive!
 
Just a little update, as of yesterday I went to sawgrass and found steak and shake! alas i did not eat there though... Oh yea and Im moving from Ft. Lauderdale to Margate (nice margate not bad margate) not Coral Springs but its close!!!! YaY. ok im done
 
You'll find beachfront property in Kansas quicker than you'll find a "rave" in Florida. There's this little law banning all non-club events here.
 
Wow, I am so all by myself in Ft. Myers... Does anyone even know where it's at?? LoL.. Prolly not.. Well it's about 2 1/2 hrs south of Tampa... A town filled wif all old people, rednecks and drug addicts.... Fun huh? O and to Sasha, Ft. Myers is bout 20-30 mins south of Sarasota... If ya wanna chat sometime u can IM me on AIM at CoZmiCxKiTTeN... After I get my A.A., I wanna move to Miami though...
 
Hey Im new here this is my first post. I usually post on Dancesafe and got bored with it now im here. Is anyone on the board from ORlando area hit me up. Seems everyone is either from Tampa or south FL area, or Jax. HEy Likwid can we pass the blunt here or is it forbiddent.
