I had bronchitis and went to urgent care. I got an RX for codeine and got it filled at CVS. I went through it fast and wanted another RX. I didn't go back to urgent care because those fuckers charged me $xxx. I went to another urgent care for $xxx and got an RX for a big bottle of codeine. I went to fill that RX at a Pavilions pharmacy because I didn't want CVS to see that I was filling a second RX from another doctor for codeine. The Pavilions pharmacy said they could not fill it and said I should get it filled somewhere else. Their excuse was they had no codeine. I did not believe them. For starters, they had the pharmacist talk to me rather than a tech. I wondered if by my filling a 2nd codeine RX in less than a week set off a flagging system. I managed to fill it at a mom and pop RX store. Is there a system in place where people get flagged for filling the same RX by different doctors at different pharmacies?
