Well, I am currently working on putting together somewhat of an itenerary and I know for a fact that Wednesday I am going to head to the Shelborne Hotel for the party with LTJ, STS9, Layo & Bushwacka, Satoshie, Monk, Dieselboy, Goldie, F & G, SS, John B. This is really one sick ass lineup for $10 and a 2500 person beach party, what more could one ask for. Still working on the rest of my plans.

Are we getting ripped or what? Last year Ultra went on until 2 AM, this year it ends at 12 midnite? What the fuck?
 
I can't wait for this week to get here already. I am flying into Miami March 17th, so I will get to start the week off by drinking some green beer for St. Pattys, then the 17,18,19 is my older brother's bachleor's party in South Beach and then the WMC. It is really going to be time to party come the 17th.

need a place to stay?

i have a couple of friends looking to cut the cost of their room. they're staying at the chesterfield in southbeach from the 24th thru the 28th if anyone is interested please pm me ASAP. you'll prolly get a pretty solid hook up bc anything you'd pay would be considered bonus. as it is they're splitting basically 1100 between the two of em.
 
Just got my tickets for Ultra. Can anybody who's gone before tell me, what time should we be there lined up to get our tickets from will call and get in to see the first acts? It must take a while to process 40,000 people.

The last event close to this size I went to was Phish's Lemonwheel, where we waited just about an hour to get in. But then again that was in a huge place way out at the end of the world, not in a city park.
 
The will call line went super fast last year. As long as you have your ID and Credit card you used ready to go it only takes them a minute to get you your tickets. Also last year security was a joke (granted I didn't get there until 2pm) but we just walked in they didn't even pat us down or anything we just gave them our ticket and walked in, so getting your tickets and getting in isn't really that bad. If you get there really early like when the gates open your in for a wait cause 2 years ago we did that and ended up waiting a hour in a massive line.

Some people might disagree with me but I don't think you should show up too early, IMO getting there like 1 or 2 pm is perfect time cause the lines are shorter and most of all the really good DJ's don't even go on until later in the afternoon. It still gives you enough time to walk around and check everything out before it gets dark and crowded.=D
 
I was just about to ask the same question. Now I need to buy my ticket to Ultra. Only a 8 more days until I am chillin in warm, sunny Florida, can't wait.

I am with TriXieee on really looking forward to the party @ the Shelborne. What a great lineup and there is so much diversity in musical genres. Outdoor pool party with 2500 of my closest friends sounds great to me. Also it is very reasonably priced. Come on Miami.
