FL, Miami - March 22-26th 2005, WMC all events listed **REVIEW**

I am going to be in Miami from the 20-27, it is my spring break. I am staying with a friend of mine about 20 minutes away from South beach the first three nights and then getting a hotel on Washington Ave. for the last 3 or 4 nights. I should be with a decent size crew and would be down to meet up with some new bluelighters. Now I just have to save a lot of money.
 
Suppose I was considering putting money aside for this.... how much should I think about having to spend? I would be flying from PA to FL and of course need to book a hotel (probably the cheapest possible). Thanks :)
 
lookin forward to this for sure. just booked my flight yesterday. i'll be in miami from the 23rd to the 28th thanks for the hook dreamgirlie lookin forward to some debauchery souf beech style... which i guess would involve silicone, white pants, and bag of coke :D

See if Dreamgirlie19 has the time and motivation to organize it ;) She and I co-organized the meetups for Starscape in both 2003 and 2004 and they were incredibly successful and tons of fun :D

Although an event of this size might be harder to organize just because its so big and its several days and all :p
 
I am really looking forward to seeing Steve Lawler again, it really sucks that Sven Vath is playing the same night and at such a sick venue. When I was down in Miami this past summer, BED seemed to be one of the hottest places on the strip. Anyway, unless something changes I will most likely be at the Lawler party. I wish this was already here, although it won't be long.

i'd like to link up w/ you on the 23rd if at all possible. dreamgirlie and company dont get in till the 24th and i wanted to hit lawler up that night.

I dont have the time sadly..but i dont think THAT many blers will be there so it should be easy to meet up with the people you wanna :)

Anyway,

Hello everyone...

I bought my flight and hotel months ago for the big trip. Me and me love are heading over to Miami on the 23rd (Wednesday) and leaving on Sat. afternoon (27th). We have partied in many places, but have never made it out to the WMC. Obviously, we are completely excited and looking forward to 4 days of debauchery...

Can anyone with WMC experience answer some questions for a newbie?

1) We are flying into Ft. Lauderdale - is it fairly easy and short trip to Miami?
2) We are staying at the Essex Hotel. It is on Collins Ave. Is this close to everything? Anyone ever stayed there?
3) Obviously Miami is a party town, but is this week special? I mean is there something going on every night/day at any given time?
4) Is Nikki Beach having a party on Friday? Is that place as cool as I have heard?
5) What parties/events do you suggest that we buy tickets beforehand? Do you need tix to all events?
6) When does "the List" come out?
7) Any advice or suggestions on the whole thing?

Sorry for the list of questions. We traveled to Spain last year and a BL'er really made our trip a lot easier and more fun. I thought I would give it another try!
