Hello all,
Just call me Fisherman because that is what I love to do. Forty-year opiate user (and everything else imaginable). Been on Suboxone for two years, saved my life, I tried to get off too fast because of the rebel cowboy in me but got back on program again and will likely stay on it the rest of my earthly life. Four decades of consistent opiate use has permanently jacked up my brain's chemistry.....trashed/dulled my opiate receptors! I have to take suboxone to just feel normal, well whatever normal really means. I guess normal would be what it was like when I was 11 years old before I started taking drugs!
Hope to hear back from others on the road called recovery!

Oh, since I have a little experience with this subject feel free to ask anything as I have probably done it.....
