Heroin First timer needs advice on best ROA

So I got 2 bags of boi, and I know nothing about this stuff at all. When I opened it, it's a hard brown square chunk, kinda sticky, because when I tried crushing it to snort, it just kinda smushed and went flat but still all stuck together. I ended up plugging it, it dissolved in water, can anyone tell me what kind it is? And the best wy to do the next one? Can I try smoking it? Or should I stick to plugging it? The first one made me feel ok for about a half hour, it's been a couple hours, and I don't feel much at this point, and it's not doing much for my pain. I'm open to any advice. Thanks!
 
The best advice I can give to a first time user who is not addicted is to not start using it.Heroin is a drug that will suck your soul and take EVERYTHING from you.From your desccription,especially the sticky and mushing flat part it sounds like you have tar.If a first time user just felt okay for a half hour that sounds like some really shitty,weak dope.It should have gotten you really high most of the night if you've never done it and it was at least decent
 
Actually, I think heroin is good plugged(havent done it, just have read experices) and it's the closest your going to get to IV...Obiously IV would be the best way, but I am not gonna reccomend that to you IT WILL TAKE OVER YOU QUICK IF YOU USE IT THIS WAY. No experience w/ H, just Oxy, Diludid, and Morphine. Now on Suboxone. Are you sure your butt was clear???? Make sure there is no poop, give yourself an enema, and if confortable with it stick your finger up your butt and if there is anything there get rid of it(gross I know, butt plugging works well with opiates). Theres smoking, but you gotta have good technique or you will waste a lot. Also monkey water, mix it in water snort but not so hard that it goes down your throat, you want it to stay in your nose kinda. But, don't do the needle, unless you want too. And also sounds like you got some shitty dope, how much did you plug??
