What's up everyone, I've been reading on here for a while now, but have never posted.

To get to the point, I acquired a few bags for free. Just wanted to know what is a good amount to start with, using intranasally. I think I've heard a matchead size bump is good to start, but could easily be wrong. Now I'm not trying to get ripped, just feel good if that's possible.

A few bits of info about me that may be useful...I have somewhat of a tolerance to opiates. When i insuffalate the octagon opana 40mg i can do a whole one throughout the day, usually in 3 or 4 lines. But I don't really have an addiction either, meaning i can go days without using any opiates and will feel very little to absolutely no WD effects.

Thanks guys in advance for all the advice. And also let me know if I shouldn't even try this lol, cause I can easily get rid of them.

Hey man! I love the last line of your post. If you're having any doubts, I'm glad you came on here to check first.

Since you can easily get rid of them, exchange the heroin for your drug of choice. Plus, in my experience, snorted opana is a better high than IV heroin.

And you wanted to just try snorting heroin, but usually we see the progression to IV use after trying heroin.

If you're not using heroin now, don't start. Opana is better anyways (not to encourage the use of any drug)

Thanks tri...advice taken. I don't really have a drug of choice, just an occasional opiate user with a semi-built tolerance from using ocxasionaly for a while if that makes sense lol. Usually just every once in a while at night when I'm relaxin in bed. I was just gonna try some tonight, not use it all or anything. But if somebody with more experience says I probably shouldn't, I have no problem following their lead lol.

If you're an occasional opiate user, definitely don't try heroin. It's pretty rare to see occasional heroin users. A lot of the time I see people going from pharmaceutical opiates to heroin once they're well into triple digit dosing.

Don't try it, please. Just give it away or trade it for a lower-risk drug. Your basically at a fork in the road, that represents your life, and you are about to make a very significant choice. Make the right choice, do not be lead into temptation.

Advice taken! Thanks tri. Maybe I'll just make a little extra pocket change with them!

It's nice to see people actually take this advice once in a while. You're doing yourself a favor man. Ever since I started using heroin 6 years ago, it's been a consistant problem in my life. That's not to say that everyone who tries heroin will end up in my shoes or worse, but the chance is high. I think the fact that heroin is illegal and more stygmatized, adds to the desperation of heroin addiction compared to other narcotics, but that's just my own oppinion on the matter.

^I said the same thing earlier in another thread! It's a good feeling when someone listens, and harm is actually reduced.

Opana better than heroin? Oxymorphone is pretty much the only opioid I never have had the chance to try, but I find that hard to believe.

OP- The wise option would be to not use the heroin as you mentioned.

It's great when the OP actually can take advise without 2 pages of rationalizing drug abuse.

In my experience, snorted opana produces more desired effects than IV heroin. The euphoria is on par, and in my opinion, superior to diamorphine.

Not by a long shot, but enough for me to notice. You don't get instant onset snorting, that's about the only major difference.

I do not intend to advocate use of either substances, nor do I recommend it.

OP, if you are going to do drugs then stick to the ones that you know the definite dose of, i.e pharmaceuticals.

I have heard a lot of people prefer Opana over heroin. Oxymorphone is very noddy, so if you like the nod you will love Opana. I don't like the nod that much so I prefer the stimulating high of oxycodone. It's just the stigma of heroin that makes people think it's hands down the best opiate ever, but people with actual experience with most opiates will mostly rank them differently.

Be very careful with Opana though. It is more potent than heroin, and has been involved in a lot of overdoses since becoming popular a few years ago.

Heroin is an addictive opiate, but in the end all powerful opiates are just as addictive. I agree with Tommyboy, oxymorphone is the most powerful opiate I've taken and its more powerful than heroin...and more than likely more addictive.

Heroin is no better or worse than strong pharmaceutical opiates (oxycodone, hydromorphone, morphine etc), some people will have a preference for one or the other, but in terms of their ability to induce addiction, they're on par.

The only difference with heroin is that it's illegal, and therefor has a variable purity, meaning you're more likely to OD and more likely to get side effects from contaminants.

i agree. the stigma that comes with heroin totally makes addicts feel worse about themselves and more desperate. shunned by society and not helped by doctors cause they just dont give a shit when they find out ur an addict. i went to the hospital with pain, being red flagged as a drug seeker [my doc helped with my first detox, and i like for the doctor to know whats going on so they can treat me more knowledgeably, even tho i know ill never get any drugs from them i feel like its almost a good thing, so i wont get a fat opiate script and relapse hard failing my hard won sobriety] they wouldnt give me shit till id been there screaming with 9-10/10 pain for almost 48 hours. i came in an ambulance. i got a grand total of 16mg morphine IV and it helped a fuckton and finally made the pain about 4/10. i never would had to have waited so long for help if i wasnt a drug seeker. and still, i only got 6mg to start, but i didnt even feel it, so i told them my tolerance was huge, and instead of the usual 3mg redose i got 10mg [guess he was being nice knowing how long id been there in pain, and i guess once they saw i wasnt going into WD after 48 hours of being there they knew i was clean at the time, and they did a urine screen]

Oxymorphone is definitely strong, no question about that. With heroin(intranasally), it was all about the diacetyl breaking down into monoacetyl, and that stimulating euphoria before it gave way to the sedating morphine high as it metabolizes. With oxycodone I prefer the initial stimulating high I get in the first couple of hours, before it metabolizes into oxymorphone and leads to sedation and nodding. Considering a dose of oxycodone's evolving effects after administration, it makes sense that opana would be highly nod-inducing.

I just tried heroin for the first time snorting and hated it, see my other post. I've been a long term oxy user and it didn't do it for me. To be honest, I'm probably throwing out the rest!

What's up guys. Just wanna thank everyone for all of their input. I ended up trading my 3 bags for 3 subs last night. And today I almost feel like a relieved feeling now that I didn't do any of it.

I will end up putting these subs away and when one of my buddies who actually have an addiction to opiates start to go thru WD and are feeling like total shit, I'll be able to help em out a little bit by giving them one, or all of them.

Again, thanks for the input everyone.

i agree with neighborhood threat all opiates are addicting.. but a drug is a drug is a drug.. meaning if you use something to numb yourself its all the same ppl just make the other shit sound worse so they dont feel as bad.. you have to have control and will power you also got to let go of whatever pain may fuel your addiction.. the worst thing i think an addict can do is lie to themselves, i use for chronic pain but i can tell you that if you get hard on any opiate you will never feel the same again clean or not.. since your such a virgin to it id just use opis like a couple times a month and NEVER use more than two days in a row, actually id skip as long as possible and take care of yourself in every way possible

youll be there life saver.. you seem intelligent always think first and trust your gut.. plus it cant hurt to ask these good ppl here on BL
