So I've come across some Xanax the yellow oval ones with LL A52 imprint I believe they are .5mg what is a recommended recreational dose? I'm benzo naive and have used xanax maybe one other time years ago and weigh 195. I was told they were filled in 96 idk if that makes a difference but thought id include that.

I would start off on .5mg and work our way up, waiting about 40 minutes between dosing. Benzos aren't really gonna get you "high" as in opiate, coke kinda high, you're just gonna feel relaxed and sedated.... I personally find benzos completely dysphoric...they have no rec value to some. And benzo withdrawal is worse than opiate withdrawal. I was on 1mg of klonopin for 3 months and it took 2 months for me to start feeling right again.... they are no joke man... please be careful.

I've never seen Xanax like those, save that imprint and look it up on a "pill id" site. That way you know what it is.
And you said they were filled 17 years ago? Probably going to be crumbly and not as effective as new ones.

listen to this guy! its easy to get carried away due to the fact they dont blow your socks off right away. ive seen it happen to plenty of people. so go easy.
i tend to only use them for comedowns or when ive gone overboard on another substance.
and if theyre 17yo like you say, i dont know how strong theyre gonna be anymore. i mean surely there would be some molecular breakdown of some sort?
but if your keen, take one and see how you feel.
if you feel the need to redose, 40 mins is probably a good time to wait.
also if you have a bean bag chair, sit in that. theyre awesome=]

Anything over 1mg is not a good idea for a first time dose. Any dose with alcohol is even worse. With Xanax the blackouts will likely happen if you start re-dosing. Just because you don't feel it doesn't mean you don't look and act totally fucked.
