You should be fine. It's not worse to shoot tar over pill's Id say it's healthier if you micron filter the oxy though I am sure it's much better. Tar seem's to be a little harder on your veins that powder heroin. Start low I would shoot a half of a 10 bag to start with. What is you tolerance to oxy like? That is important to know so we can tell you where to start. I would shoot less the .1g to start with.

You might want try chasing the tar off of some foil if this is your first experience with H.
Start small and work your way up.

Banging tar is no worse than banging Oxys. It is certainly a hell of a lot cheaper. I would be very very careful though. Please start very, very small, much smaller than you think you should. You can always do more. FWIW I ODed(paramedics, narcan the whole nine) on less than 5 bucks worth of tar once back in the day, when I had a similar oxy tolerance to yours. Quality can vary hugely if you don't have a regular connect...so please be safe. Again...YOU CAN ALWAYS DO MORE...

As someone who has personally ODed a grand total as 16 times[dont ask] off of tar i can tell you that where there is a will there is a way. no matter how weak your heroin, a junky will always find a way to potentiate and maximize your intoxication level. any combination of sleeping pills, benzos, alcohol, and stimulants will crank it up to 11.
i personally used tar for well over a year in conjunction with a myriad of drugs without becoming physically addicted before spending the next 4 and a half years strung out to the point of selling hundreds to thousands of dollars of the drug to get by.
i never really care for oxy though. too sleepy and not euphoric enough, although i got better results from swallowing it than snorting or shooting. Kids these days!

be prepared for the nod! (altho you can't really prepare or anticipate it, it will grace you with its presence when it feels like it, whether your doing something like typing on the computer or not, so try not to smoke cigs or anything). the nod is awesome though, and it's like your awake and asleep at the same time.
also start very small. my first bag was fire as hell and fat as fuck, and i was able to nod heavy off of it 5-6 times, and i had a decent tolerance.
as others have said, i recommend not shooting ur first time. get acquainted with the drug first, and try either snorting it (may be kind of awkward/painful to snort, since you'll have to use an oral syringe to dissolve it in, and maybe a few other steps not sure, but you can search on here and find out what's necessary, and you basically just snort the watery liquid) or try plugging it. if you plug it tho, start very small as well, cuz this shit ain't no oxy, and is some heavy duty stuff. also, the peak will be much longer when you snort it versus when you inject it, which some people actually prefer.
also, don't keep snorting the H trying to achieve a high similar to oxy. there isn't as much of the "speedy-like" euphoria as oxy has, so you may not be used to what the high really feels like at first and accidentally do too much. this kind of happened to me, and i woke up like 2-3 hours later on my keyboard lol.
also, you may not really enjoy the high it produces as much at first, but trust me, the euphoria turns out exponentially better than oxy once you get accustomed to the different noddy-like euphoria it produces, and just overall contempt with any situation.
one last note: sounds like you've been using opiates for quite some time. heroin will grab you by the balls like none other. you'll put that shit away in your drawer and it'll be calling your name all day. be careful man, and try to take breaks if you can. always test out new batches, this can save your life.

Overall, good advice but how can you possibly saying banging tar is not worse than banging oxy preparations when the cuts used in tars and inactives in oxy preparations can vary so wildly?
We've had reports here of tar being cut with coffee grounds, shoe polish and a shitload of other things that you really don't want floating around your veins and getting deposited in your vital organs.
I'm not sure we can make blanket statements about the relative harm of illicit drugs versus pills because there are simply too many variables involved.

My point was simply that tar is not objectively worse than Oxys just because it's tar. You sure as hell don't want pill filler floating around your veins and depositing in your organs either. You can have a clean tar shot and a dirty oxy shot or vice versa. Hence my claim that neither is better or worse than the other. It is up to the person prepping the shot to be safe.

Been there done that, and if oxy was still available in it's OC formulation and cost the same as b, I'd take oxy over b any day.
For me, oxy is much more euphoric. Oxy was almost a social drug for me; that is however before the nods kicked in !

I wish I could get a nod on oxy still. Maybe if I took over a $100 worth, not really worth it though. Just can't justify taking 6 30s at once, when $5 of tar can get me a nod.
Like the other guy said. Dissolve the tar in water, snort/shoot up the nose first time. I used to really like snorting oxy's and snorting tar like this is way better.

if you decide you want to try snorting it. the best method is to mix it with lactose. this can be accomplished by either blending the two together in a coffee grinder or putting both of them inside a pill bottle with some quarters in it and shaking it around for awhile..
its weird every since i switched to tar my withdraws are almost non-existent, actually im not even positive ive been getting anything from the tar, ive aquired it from two different sources and even tried to iv it, when i did i got a very baby rush, it could have been placebo! is this normal? yesterday i got some pills for the first time in like a week and a half and they kicked my ass!

Sounds like you're tar isn't that great.
If oxys are kicking your ass, I'd say thats definitely the case.
I can do a shitload of oxy, and $5 of tar gets me good. Way more so than 90mg of oxy.
Then again if you're pills are opana or dilaudid, I could be wrong.

yeah sounds like you're not getting good tar if oxys do it and tar doesn't, unless your tolerance is really high from the other opiates. I'd say do more but that's hard because the line between a good high and overdosing is a thin one. i'd say if you're gonna go with shooting do that but start small and work your way up if that's something you wanna switch to. although i would never want anyone to start doing heroin, that's one meaaaaaan drug. just a suggestion.

im live in SW FL right now, and i just had to quit a 3yr iv roxy and dilaudid habit.90-something days so far
buuu-t, im moving to san diego in about six months, and im really excited to try some good heroin. ive only had it twice here, and i think it was shite both times. anyway, id like to thank everybody posting info for first time(ish) heroin users. muchas gracias.
