Heroin First time using

Just got a bag from a trusted friend. Pretty anxious to try it out, but I'm thinking not till tomorrow because I took 2 350mg somas (carisoprodol) this morning. I'm not sure if this would have any effect 9 hours later, but I'd rather be safe. I'm 18 and have been using roxies on and off for the past few months. I'm usually good around 20mg nasally, I tried a full 30 last night and was on the verge of getting sick, but didn't throw up until this morning. Basically, I have no tolerance to opiates.

I have a MG scale, but don't really know where to start. I live in the northeast U.S., got a tannish brown powder. My friend told me to start really small around .02 or .03 and see how I feel from there. Someone else told me I'd be okay with .05, maybe sick but not really at risk of OD. Basically I've been hearing numbers all around, and just want to be safe. Could doses this low of good quality H actually make someone with no tolerance nod? I'm not trying to get completely wrecked my first time, but I would also like it to be more intense then my roxi dosage. Also, if I wanted to take more and felt comfortable, how long should I wait after my first dose (nasally)? Could I try it tonight if I took somas this morning (atleast 12 hours later)?

Depending on where int he North East you are, quality can vary immensely. Here in NJ, I have seen people with minimal tolerance get sick from half a bag. H isn't like it was years ago, though, so unless you get some real fire I would imagine you'd be fine with half a bag. What I would do is empty the bag, and make four lines. Do one and wait 20-30 minutes and see how you feel. You can always do more, but can't undo what has been done.

It is a different high than roxi's though, it is much more sedating whereas I find roxis to be almost stimulating. You would be much more likely to catch a nod from heroin than oxycodone, that's for sure.

But since we do not know how pure your shit is, or how much it weighs exactly, the only thing we can really say is to start small like sekio said.

Yes, start using a small amount and see how it feels. Are you alone? Maybe score with a buddy with more experience, and have them test it first.

You could even snort a small amount to get a feel for potency.

Hey bro, pretty much just like everyone else said u have to crawl before you walk. And your friend gave u good advice, a 1/3 or a 1/4 of a .1 bag is a pretty safe start for your first hoorah. although the n.east is known for having potent gear, u could be anywhere and get strong dope. It all depends on how much its been stepped on. Oh yea somas are barbituates which are depressants like heroin if im not mistaken so be careful combining the 2 for future reference bro.Let us know how it went. Good luck

^Soma is NOT a barbituate, that is false information. It is a pro-drug of meprobamate. While it does cause similar pharmacological effects as barbituates, it is not as sedating and safter. Though they do indeed cause CNS depression, which in combination with heroin can cause problems if you over do it. Soma is very short acting, though, but I woudl wait at least 12 hours after taking any Soma to indulge in heroin, especially if it is your first time.

I'm going to say that the four-lines idea is probably the way to go, and truthfully, waiting a half hour between lines is probably a bit much, but it is better to be safe than sorry. I'm sure that you'll be able to use your head to dose accordingly.

What about in the long run? Doesnt your tolerance shoot threw the roof with heroin & then it would get more expensive than doing pills? Im talking about snorting & not shooting it.

No. In my history with heroin (snorting and shooting) the MOST I was doing daily was around a bundle (10 bags) . Without mentioning prices I could get a bundle for the same price as an oxy 80, and when I started doing heroin I would need over 200mg of oxy to get a good buzz. So do the math. Your tolerance goes up when you shoot it, but the increased bio-availability makes up for it in my opinion.

In the long run, even with tolerance and whatever else, pills are still the more expensive option... and we're not talking a couple dollars different; we're talking a big difference in price, for sure...

Do you even know if this is some heroin salt there or heroin freebase? Tannish brown powder definitely doesn't indicate it's of high purity. Tannish brown powder is what you get when one performs an extraction from opium but doesn't clean it to the point of having morphine freebase. And that tannish product is then acetylated, end of story. It might be meant for vaporizing ("chasing the dragon" method) unless you react it with some weak acid, i.e. a classical example of cooking up brown heroin with 5-10% acetic acid water solution or with citric acid to get a "strong tea like" solution to inject i.v. This is the form of heroin most spread in my country (the other are 1) the infamous "Kompot" - a cherrish brown liquid with all alkaloids acetylated - and 2) white to off-white powder of high purity with heroin hydrochloride).

Of course there are people who snort the kind of tannish brown powder with heroin freebase but it's not meant for this. I don't know what "0.02" or "0.05" means because you didn't give any unit of mass. Anyway, heroin is almost always the beginning of the end. You're not a opioid-naive person so you shouldn't just throw up and fall asleep. It'll eventually take you down with itself like it does with everyone no matter if you snort it, vaporize it, or inject it.

You're from Poland, but the OP is from the United States. The dope that we get here on the east coast is of extremely high purity, absolutely snortable, and is a tanish brown color because of cut...

Yeah, the shitty heroin in Poland also of tannish brown color is also cut (how could it not be if 2 dealers get the stuff from one source and the potency varies?), there's that thing one can buy at a supermarket to make it look like there's more of it, so it's not hard to cut it with shit... But then again even without this the color is tannish brown or even light tan, depends e.g. on the time of delivery to the city. It's freebase in it. The very same thing I came along in the UK, so the fact that the east coast of the US is thousands of miles away from Poland doesn't mean heroin in both places doesn't come from one source (some Russian/Ukrainian port -> the port in the UK). It's just like with cocaine traveling over the ocean to Europe...

What you get on the east coast is a lot of "brands" of heroin, you can find white powder there, you can find brown powder... Hey, it's not a Polish term "chasing the dragon" and this is how heroin in Poland is vaporized too (if it is instead of shooting up).

When snorting H, wait at LEAST 5 minutes before doing another line. I find that the effect takes a bit longer to "peak" than most other insufflated drugs.

Just a note: even really pure batches burn like hell going up and the back of your throat. I'd recommend keeping a cup (to spit) and tissues nearby.

I know you have your mind made up and you already have the dope and have been using oxies the past few months, but consider how dark this road truly is. I can remember back in 2000-2001 making the exact type of [post you are making. Fast forward a few years and I was a homeless junkie. There were plenty of people that warned me but I didn't listen and thought deep down that I was different and it wouldn't happen to me. I started using dope at 18 too. Do you really think you will be the guy that can outsmart the habit? Will you be in that fraction of a percentage that doesn't really, really enjoy heroin? I hope you are.

I know that this is probably pointless and to be honest, meaningless. If I could change one thing in my life, it would be to go back to the exact point you are at in your life, where I was on the cusp of fucking every single god damn thing in my life up by tarting to get a habit, and NEVER touch any opiate again.

I fucked a lot of things up trying to mask a bad antidepressant reaction with GBL instead of going to the doctor, it included the love of my life hating me over night. I can't imagine a worse year than that one.

Absolutely loved it. It's my new favorite, but I'm going to avoid it for awhile now. As long as I don't ever buy a lot of it and space out my use I hope I can steer clear of any problems, but that's easier said than done. 1 bag got me good 3 times, so I did save money. I spaced it out over 3 days, and got sick the last day. A quarter of the bag was great, then I tried about .035 the next time, and it was perfect for me. My last day, I tried to finish up the rest of my bag but I passed out on my couch then woke up puking. Other then that, it was great. I realize next time I'll probably have a different batch with a different potency so my doses won't be the same.

So true, I thought I would try heroin a couple of times and now nearly 11 years later I am still doing it.
