1. How intense would you describe ecstasy to be as compared to the other 3 drugs I've done?
Similar intensity to psilocybin as others have said. Altered perception, very happy and warm feeling, social, there can be mild psychedelic effects depending on the dose, quality, and how you react to it.
2. What is the best way, in terms of consumption, to maximize the effects of the pill? Should I chew it up, or just bite it in half, etc. ?
Crushing it up (preferably if it's MDMA powder rather than pills, since the press pills with pictures on them contain artificial colors and binders, however in the grand scheme of things those are likely not more dangerous than whatever additives people put in MDMA powder) as fine as you can get it makes it hit quite fast and hard, within minutes, but the high doesn't last as long and it is MUCH more painful than snorting cocaine! I do cocaine occasionally without problem but I can't tolerate snorting MDMA, though my boyfriend has no problem with it. There are many ways to take it but honestly, it comes in the easiest form to take it, a pill, so what's the rush to come up so fast! I drop a pill and it takes between half an hour and 90 minutes to start feeling it, then you're normally really high within a few minutes! Oral also has the added effect of going from your intestines through your liver, rather than straight into your bloodstream, so your body can filter it a little bit. This does not make you less high. Booty bumping is apparently very effective (shoving a straight pill up your ass, which I personally feel is not the safest as your anal wall can be delicate and easily damaged by chemicals or scraping, and the other method that involves dissolving a pill in a very small amount of warm water and then inserting it into the relaxed rectum using a turkey baster-type thing)...never tried it, and there's no filtering like with snorting it, but I have heard it's very intense. For the first time I honestly think dropping a pill orally is the easiest way that is less likely to be totally overwhelming, but it's up to you!
3. I will be ingesting said pill alone in my living room with my four dogs chilling around me, during the afternoon around 2pm. Also, I will be playing some loud music on some speakers we have in our home. Is this an ideal environment, if so, would you suggest I do this during my time of "tripping"? If so, what else would you suggest I do?
I have a hard time rolling by myself, I need people around me to talk to and share my happiness with! If there's no one, beware that a LOT of people have called their family members/friends/grocers/every person in their cell phone to tell them they love them! If you can't roll with anyone trustworthy or who is comfortable with drugs like this, your environment sounds lovely. If I was by myself I would have some tactile things around to play with (rubbery soft toys from the dollar store, soft cloths or stuffed animals or pillows, etc), maybe take a nice shower or bath (but don't make it too hot- your brain's ability to control body temperature with precision is often decreased as a result of MDMA, so don't be paranoid but do make sure you don't overheat!), listen to good music, walk or lay in nature if available, definitely lay out some blankets and pillows to roll around on if you want to! I roll almost exclusively at home with friends- some people love the rave scene and dancing all night, but my ideal setting is inside in a comfy place where I can chill, feel really happy and have easy access to bathroom facilities/water/comfort.
4. How long do you think my "trip" will last, or do you even think one pill will even do anything? FYI, I'm 5'8, approximately 175lbs.
Normally a typical dose of 100-150mg (most quality pills have about 100mg in each...if I were you I'd start with one, give it an hour or 90 minutes and then take a half pill if you don't come up) lasts 3-4 hours. After that, it's common to re-dose with half a pill or a full pill, which should last another couple of hours. The comedown can last 1-3 hours and is pretty gradual. I wouldn't recommend extra dosing after 1 re-dose as your body can only release and hold onto so much serotonin before you run out, after that it gets rough on your body and you're not likely to feel nearly as good.
5. Will smoking weed on the pill have any negative or positive effects?
Not that I know of! Sometimes a small amount of marijuana can enhance the effects, but one time I took a couple of huge bong hoots and ended up with uncontrollable short-term memory issues for the duration of the high that went something like this- "Hey, Sara, last week I was walking to Safeway and I saw.............wait, what were we talking about? Oh well. Wait. Where are we right now?" for several hours. I can't be sure it wasn't the pills but I've never had that experience again in 4 years of regular rolling!
6. During the comedown of the pill, what will I experience? Also, what should I do during this time? Would smoking weed help?
Everyone's different, for sure. Some people come down hard and feel dark and depressed, but most people I know just start to feel slowly less amazing over a couple of hours until they feel normal but tired. I watch TV shows I like for an hour before bed after coming down so I just relax and get sleepy, then I go to bed and can normally sleep without many problems. If you're staying up after all of this, you might feel a little grumpy or easily annoyed. Some people smoke weed or have a drink or two (NOT a bunch of drinks, one or two!) to ease the comedown and relax even more, which is likely fine.
*Some people also experience mild to moderate depression for a day or two afterwards due to the depleted serotonin.
*Some people get afterglow (a warm, happy feeling the entire day after rolling, so lovely!).
*Some people can be a little emotionally labile (I tear up easily at things like ads supporting adoption or puppies cuddling or a beautiful song haha, it's very funny),
*and in some cases (fairly rare from what I've seen) people have had bad reactions that result in severe depression for a couple of days afterward. If this does happen to you, be VERY aware that this is due to your serotonin, and it IS temporary.
