First time using LSD- I ate a tab an hour ago, don't feel anything? Help?

Id probably eat it in a couple hours if your still not trippin just in case its a different drug than lsd with a very long onset. tolerance probably wont be an issue if you don't get a solid trip but if you want to make sure you'll be good in a couple days. you will definitly know when your trippin balls if its lsd. look for very noticable visuals thats how i usualy can tell im for sure trippin with acid at least. stare at stationary objects and see if they morph and breath.

If you are going to trip, reading scary stuff on the internet is not going to put you in the right head space. It doesn't sound like you are peaking any time soon so my advice would be to put some headphones on and go for a walk around your neighbourhood. At best a change in scenery might kick things up a notch at worst you will get some fresh air and some exercise.

What do you mean by it doesn't sound like I'm peaking- do you think I'm going to peak in several hours? I'll take your advice and go walk my dog or something, I just don't want to have a terrifying experience like the trip reports I'm reading about on erowid..

I only took two and I won't take any more so hopefully I just ride the trip out. It's my first time with psychedelics and they're Hoffman Bicycle blotters with 5 stars at the bottom, I googled them and most people said it was legit LSD

The person who I bought them off claimed they were 170mcg per tab- I've eaten two total this afternoon, going six hours back, and I've been sober the whole time. Nothing really noticeable, just some tightness in my throat, light headedness, etc. I'm feeling more sober now though, less dazed and confused. Maybe it was just a very, very low dose of LSD.

I've been laying in bed the entire time trying to sleep a little bit but I've been awake- I took 2 drags of a cigarette this morning and I smoked a little weed yesterday, but other than that, I haven't had anything. I'd been carrying the tab and touching it with my bare hands for a few days, so is that why it hasn't worked? Should I drop another whole one? I feel pretty sober, just hungry and with a very slight headache (that might have nothing to do with the tab.)

Since I cut it in half with scissors then ate the pieces 20 minutes apart, did that do something to it? They were air mailed to me (USA) from the Netherlands, so are they no good anymore? They've been in foil and a ziplock plastic baggie.

Any help would be appreciated, I'm stumped.

EDIT: They're Hoffman Bike Blotters with the mountain in the background, but there's nothing on the bottom row of the sheet. No '1943' or '2000' date, or little bicycle pictures. There's no additional decorating like I've seen online. The tab also seemed to have a soapy or even fruity taste to them which faded as I kept it in my mouth. I've read Hoffman Bike Blotters to taste like fruit, sometimes, though.

I know who it is you probably got those blotters from, and they're in all, they barely contain any LSD. If you're going to try to buy LSD that way, don't cheap out! You'll end up disappointed.

From what you have described, between being mailed overseas, with varying temperatures and what not, along with you touching it with you hands for a few days? Yeah, it's no wonder you feel nothing.

If I touched a piece of blotter for more than a minute, I'd be convinced to take it then and there otherwise I'd consider it ruined to be totally honest.

LOL, I have those too. (the blotters) And they're from the Netherlands as well, so chances are they are the same batch.

I have tabs which I presume are around 50mics. When I take 3+ I definetly "trip", but when I eat just one I'm at a +, which could probably be ignored or considered placebo if you're expecting a +++ trip.
From what I read, it's relatively rare to have tabs where you only need one to full-on trip.

edit: definetly not 170mics as you were told. MAYBE 70mics, but I'd even doubt that. Hope you didn't pay too much for them.
I got them from a colleague who got them in The Netherlands, and he (the colleague) told me they were very weak, and I should take 3 the first time and expect to need 5 for a more serious trip. He was right.

Chill. It's real LSD, I've tested them with Ehrlich. To be 100% sure you'd have to too but I don't tink you need to worry. Are they mor like cartboard than like paper ?
As I said, they're rather weak tabs. Wait two weeks and eat 3 at the same time. Lots of fun !

They seem like a legit blotter paper- they're not flimsy pieces of paper but they're not so still they're unbendable.
Also, yesterday when I took them, I was getting pretty noticeable vasoconstriction. I've looked that up and I thought you weren't so much supposed to experience that with LSD- my throat and neck felt very tight while my eyes were very dilated for several hours.

Based on what you wrote it sounds like you had a very, very low dose of LSD.

Yeah from what you describe they're the same batch, I think. Again, it's LSD, but very low dose/blotter.

Pupil dilation is normal with LSD, as it is with any other psychedelic.
The muscle tightness is possible as well. How is your stress level nowadays ? Sleep, food, stress all influence these things. Also, being worried about what you've taken and constantly "waiting for" an effect might contribute to the muscle tightness, IMO. Drop a magnesium supplement for the muscle tightness next time you trip. And meditate, if you're not into that already

I think mine could just be degraded because it was mailed such a long distance, from the Netherlands to the USA. I've also heard of sheets being very unevenly layered, which would explain the low dose.

I've eaten 3 more tabs today and feel a throat tightness and some rippling when I look at patterns, I think I'll go for a fourth

They were bullshitting you. I was ripped off with these hoffmanns too, they contain almost no LSD. A friend and I took 4 and only experienced threshold effects. We had to purchase a bunch of other drugs a few hours later to get us tripping.

Just another reason why I don't buy my drugs on the street anymore.
