First time trying Ecstasy..few questions

First off im 18, graduating HS in about 2 weeks.
Ive smoked bud for 2 years, drinking alcohol for a while , doing hydrocodone, and have done dxm at different doses many times with none exceeding 600mg. So this is really like my first 'street drug' and its took me forever to find someone who sells it. Im very excited. I love what drugs do to the mind and body, i dont do it to look cool or anything, i just love each experience and how it changes my mind and just opens it up. Its a beautiful feeling and in time i wanna try many different substances.
I do a lot of research before trying any drug ive never done before, to make sure i get the most enjoyable and safe experience as possible.

But it seems like everyone is trying to scare me out of doing it and i dont know why :(
Im really excited , i have a friend(A), who has a friend(B) who is getting some e pills this weekend. Well (A) said (b) buys from this guy all the time so im assuming its good to go for the most part?
I dont know (B), just met the kid yesterday but he seems pretty cool.

Anyway, im suppose to be getting 2 pills(?),im assuming they come in pills, when i do get it ima just go and swallow half when first try.
But people online keep saying its gonna be laced with meth and heroine and that keeps buggin the hell out of me, what are the chances ima actually get something thatll end up killing me? And if i do get it laced with something that isnt MDMA, how will i know in time to go and seek medical attention? (This is my really only problem, i know all about keeping hydrated etc.)
I live on the east coast of the US if that matters about chances of it being a dud or not.
And i know about drug kits to test it, but i dont really no where to get one, and even if i did itd be hard to get it here since i live at home. Only way to get one is me finding one at a store, possibly a headshop not sure who would sell them?

Also is it alright to MDMA alone the first time? I could do it with some guys but theyll all be sober, and i enjoy being high by myself usually unless they are high as well, which they wont be.
I could hang out with this girl who likes me but i dont really like her like that so that could end up bad in the end.
So if i do do it alone, will i be horny the whole time and bored or will it be an experience i wont forget? :)
If its cool to do it alone, what should i do and in the day or night?

I recommend trying mdma in a social setting. Rolling alone i find to be boring and lonesome, i always want company while on mdma.

Definitely try it with some friends.

If you are only planning on taking one or one half of a pill,you don't really have to worry about any medical issues.

Meth bombs are a possibility, as are pipes. If you're told the pill is acid based, it's probably a pipe. Pills are not "based", pipes have much more hallucinogenic properties and are generally a lot trippier from my understanding(still haven't had one fortunately). Test your pills or at the very least look them up on pillreports.com, and READ THE COMMENTS.

I've never rolled alone, and don't know that I would enjoy it that much but many people here on bluelight enjoy rolling alone. I always roll with very close friends and it's an incredibly rewarding experience. Also, as long as your pills are legit, I wouldn't start with a half. Just drop one and see how you feel from there.

If you aren't feeling anything within an hour and a half or so I'd recommend you don't redose, because in general you should already be coming up at that point if the pills are MDMA.

As far as needing medical attention goes, I don't think one pill will require medical attention even if it is a pipe or meth bomb, even though it may be a frightening experience. This is also assuming you don't have any underlying medical conditions.

There are many far more experienced users here on bluelight than myself, so if anyone has anything to add or correct feel free:)

Do you mind elaborating? I wasn't saying it would be a pleasant experience if it were a pipe, I was saying a trip to the hospital probably wouldn't be neccesary if he took one pipe.
 
There are tons of myths spread about MDMA-just check out our thread on myths that have been spread. A great documentary (and only 45 minutes) on MDMA was hosted by Peter Jennings on NBC in 04, it's called "Ecstasy Rising", and will explain quite a lot to you.

MDMA was actually my first drug (excluding alcohol), and still my favorite. There is very little risk of you being able OD on MDMA, it's actually one of the harder drugs to OD on. So long as you are hydrated, but not overly hydrated, you'll likely be just fine. MDMA is a wonderful experience I wish I could share with the world, so have fun and enjoy it with friends.

There's no such thing as a "safe source", but looking up your pills on pillreports.com is a good way to find out what you have. Erowid is extremely valuable as a place for REAL factual info on drugs, please refer to it and ignore the ridiculous crap you find on MDMA out there.
 
I've only rolled alone once, it was still an amazing feeling, but there was no one around to talk to or share my ideas with.. it wasn't as good as having friends around, mdma is a social drug.

As far as safety concerns, you obviously shouldn't drive. I wouldn't mix it with alcohol either, stay moderately hydrated, a pint of water an hour is good, for me anyways.. Just have fun and be safe :)
 
Well thanks for all the replies guys I already feel way better! Cant wait for this weekend :) Probably will just do it around some friends.

And yeah ill check that documentary out in a few minutes actually!

i'll probably start off with half , chill with some friends and if it seems good in a bit ill probably walk around downtown or somewhere with some friends and see where it goes from there.
