First time trying Acid. Advise, Tips, and Ideas?

Next weekend my boyfriend and I are going to try acid for the first time.
Neither one of us really know what to expect.
He really wants to try it, but he seems very nervous because we've heard so much about "bad trips"

I would really appreciate some advise.
What should we expect?
What are some good tips and ideas for making this trip a good one?

Like hugs said "dont be nervous"! you should pick a couple movies, maybe go for a walk in a place that has flowers or cacti (preferably cacti IMO), make a playlist of your favorite songs and dance to that for a while, maybe try meditating or doing some yoga during the peak.
And you HAVE to look at this while your peaking, it will blow your mind ;)

Being nervous is normal, as soon as the drug kicks in that nervousness will immediately be replaced by euphoria. I haven't done LSD but I have done a whole lot of shrooms and MDMA lol, knowing that LSD and shroom trips are somewhat similar (some may argue that) I would say just be in a comfortable setting and have a good mindset. It'll be a blast!

Maybe go on a hike through nature on a nice day? That's my favorite thing to do while tripping.

Biggest thing to remember is that it is only a drug even though LSD feels like, at some points, that it isn't going to end, it will. :)

You want to be in a controlled environment too. Some place that you're comfortable and are familiar with. I also recommended having a sober sitter so that if anything goes wrong, you have someone there to keep an eye on you. Have some music that you like ready, as well as a good set of headphones :)
Lightshows on L are fun too. Try to avoid areas with lots of people, that tends to overwhelm a lot of first time trippers IME.

Movies are great for me on acid, besides dark/scary movies. Alice in Wonderland and 2Fast2Furious were both awesome for me! Any movie you would normally like to watch would probobly be good. I want to watch Inception when I eat the rest of my tabs; That movies a trip by itself hhaha.

I find that I rather enjoy Pixar movies on L.
