First time snorting adderall

Sorry for the stupid question, but I've never snorted Adderall before.

What would be a not too intense amount of Adderall to start with? 2.5 or 5 mg?

Yeah, I used to take them orally a long time ago, but I found a couple left over ones so I figured might as well use them than throw them away. But thanks! :)
 
Adderall is much more effective taken orally but if your planning on doing it, your going to do it. I don't know your tolerance so I can't tell you any specific dose to take but what you should do is take half of the dose that you usually take orally. This is in regard to the instant release Adderall. You won't get as much crushing the beads up from Adderall XR because some of it stays extended release regardless of how fine you crush it up. Its not nearly as effective this way so with Adderall XR I just suggest taking it orally. If you still want to do it you'll need to take 75% of your usual oral dose. Just my opinion.
 
I take 30mg Ir twice a day and have Snorted as much as 120mg in a day was up for almost 2 days to me it works either way i take it I just have a thing for snorting
even when only taking my prescribed doses I prefer to snort them.......
 
Crush that shit into a fine powder and bomb it. Believe me it hits harder when parachuted, I use to snort adderall daily as a teenager. Then I realized it is more effective bombed. But if you want to get fancy and get the most bang for your buck, rectal is the supreme ROA for adderall. It's not difficult to do: Crush the pill(s) in a bevel-bottomed shotglass.
Add 7-9ml of warm water into a 10ml oral syringe (the remaining space will be taken up by the pills' binders, depending on how many you use).
Draw up solution, paying special attention to the liquid portion of it, as amphetamine is highly soluble in water. Residual binders left in the bottom are unlikely to provide additional benefit, but get 'em if you can.
Lubricate syringe
Insert'n'squirt
Remain on left side for between 5 and 15 minutes.

Bro, I use to snort 20mg lines. No less than 2 lines at a time. 2.5 and 5mg lines will just cause you to build tolerance quickly and not achieve proper euphoria, just excessive stimulation and tension. Please use the ROA's I suggested, only because I cannot advise you to snort a 30mg line (IR only, don't even think about sniffing XR, it is a waste even when the beads are crushed).

Oral is in no way more effective than snorting, just easier. If you split the dose it lasts just as long but is more intense, bio available and kicks in faster. What makes you think the time release still works if it is powdered? That doesn't even make sense. It turns into an easily absorbed gel when your mucus moistens it. Adderall XR is the best when snorted, taking it orally is so drawn out with such a low peak it is almost useless for recreation. Even if some didn't absorb when it was snorted you would still eventually swallow it. The time release mechanism is physically, not chemically bonded in the XR, being fully defeated if you crush it enough. You didn't crush it up properly. The envelope method is crap compared to using a mortar and pestal with repeated grinding.

^Orally is a waste, it isn't as bioavailable. I can't believe so many of you spew this nonsense about the XR. It works perfectly and is dramatically more intense to the point where you need less of it and can get extra doses from the same amount.

It is like with the original oxy's, oral works good enough but snorted is better.

Ok we're about 3 years late on this thread, but for the sake of argument to the above poster saying that oral Adderall XR is an ineffective way to get a recreational euphoria, I just have to say that it 100% not true. I've had more intense experiences by simply taking amphetamine orally than snorting it.

As far as the extended release mechanism being completely (like you say) defeated by crushing the beads, do you have anything to back that statement up, because I've been hearing speculative answers on the topic for almost 10 years. I believe that crushing the beads can make the first wave of the XR be more powerful, but even when getting them to a very fine powder, I can still feel the XR last longer than a regular IR Adderall.
 
The point is that even when snorting XR it is a vastly superior ROA if done properly. I personally did not notice the XR lasting longer than the IR. They both completely turn into an easily absorbed gel when moist like I said so I don't see how it is possible for the XR to be different. Has there ever been a study on this shit? Take ground up IR and XR and add water. There are no apparent specs left over unless it was ground up poorly like with the envelope method. A microscopic (ie: not visible this way) amphetamine binding effect seems improbable as well.

It is also much easier to overshoot the mark dose-wise when snorting so people can get the impression oral is better. My personal experience has been that taking oral XR intact has a gruellingly slow come-up and leaves me wishing I had blown it. Perfect for study, not so much for pornz and tunes.
