I'm a moderate opiate user, usage is typically once or twice a month. I've tried heroin before, but never any method except for IV(until last night). Typical IV doses would range anywhere from 100-200mg in a night, dosing at roughly 50mg increments, changing to a new rig each time. Using this method, I never experienced inexplicable nausea - at least nothing I'm not used to, having moderate experience with opiates. Last night, I smoked a total of probably 300-400mg over a four hour period. About an hour after my last smoked dose at around 1:30AM, I began vomiting violently, after which I hit the hay for some very uneasy sleep, spent most of the night tossing and turning, half awake. I "re-awoke" at around 9AM, still extremely nauseous. Long story short, I spend most of the day vomiting roughly once per hour, and experience flu-like symptoms until around 5 PM, when I could FINALLY hold down food or drink. It had been ginger ale and Gatorade all day until that point. This was simply confounding, as my stomach (along with many of yours) has developed a surprising ability to hold down the vast majority of goodies which I drop into it (save for GHB, which inevitably ends in a trip to the bathroom every time, despite almost nightly use).
Has anybody ever experienced anything like this? I understand being sick shortly after use (either due to the lovely taste of vaporized acetic acid, or the strong opiate buzz), but I've never heard of next-day sickness catalyzed by opiate use.
