I've been a reg heroin user but I've always sniffed. I got a needle today and I want to use it but in the safest way possible. What's the best way to get the dope in the needle. I was told alittle cold water is all you need but I also know there is a way that involves cotton an heating it. Which is better/safer and also is hydrogen peroxide ok to use to clean my skin where I'll inject. And do I need to clear the air out of the syringe before injecting and do I need to draw back when the needles in to pull blood in the syringe. Any info would help I want to go about this the right way since I shouldn't be doing it at all
 
Insufflation is way safer than IV. You probably should not go down this road. But, if you must.


The safest way would be to use a micron filter. A small tightly balled piece of cotton ball could work as well. You could use a spoon or maybe a large measuring spoon and draw the solution through the filter. I heat the solution slightly while it is in the spoon. Ideally, there will be no cutting agent. But, if slight heating does not dissolve everything, the remaining substance might be cut.

I would also use rubbing alcohol over peroxide.

I would hold the needle end up and flick the syringe to get air bubbles to the top and then slowly squeeze out.

Also, use WAY LESS than you think. The effects will be much stronger IV vs snorting. Find a vein that is very easy to see and/or sticks out of your skin. Stick needle slowly at an almost parallel angle until you see a small amount of blood in the bottom of the syringe. Pull back slightly on the plunger to ensure you are in, then push plunger slowly and try to keep your hand as steady as possible. Remove needle slowly and at the same angle. Personally, if any blood appears at injection site, I lick it to ensure "I got all of it".

Ok so how much water for Half a ten bag. And I put water and dope on spooln heat It for how long? And then put cotton ball on cooked spoon and draw from the cotton
 
Pull probably half of the syringe full of water and squirt in spoon. The more sterile the water the better. I heat maybe 5 seconds. Very slightly. Too much heat could accidentally dissolve cutting agent as well.
 
Stick in the cotton but not too far. Make sure you do not draw up any cotton. You will feel shitty and it is dangerous if you do this. Also, try not to hit the metal as this could dull the needle making scarring and/or blowing a vein more likely.

Also, using a tourniquet will make the initial register more noticeable. If you use one, release the pressure immediately after injection to ensure proper blood flow. Also, make sure tourniquet is several inches from injection site. You do not want vein pressure to get that high.

Nothing cane out of the cotton ball. What am I doing wrong ? Can I just mix it with water or does it need to be filtered thru cotton
 
I have before. I would leave the cotton you tried at first in the spoon and add a little more water as there is probably some goodies in there. If nothing else, suck on the cotton.

I did it with a q tip and only drew out maybe .3ccs the liquid was extremely clear and after I injected I didn't really feel it go in or much of a high yet. There is also a small bump from the area I shot does this mean I missed the vein and also how dangerous is it of I shoot into something other then a vein
 
The bump means you probably missed. If you missed the vein, you will still feel it. It will take longer and will not be as intense. If you do it again, try a different vein. You do not want to cause permanent damage to a vein. Personally, this might be bad advice, lightly rub the bump in the belief that it will work faster.
 
You might want to wait until the next time you have blood work or something done and pay close attention to how they do it. If you search the internet for safe injection practices, there are sites catered to illicit IV use that could help.
 
please look through this thread, I'm lucky to be skinny and graced with very visible veins, but for some people it's very hard to get the hang of this.

I'm fairly certain you missed the shot if you didn't feel anything, if you manage to register blood, but then while you are pushing it in, you begin to feel resistance in the plunger, or it hurts, you are missing and should pull it out immediately. this is also another reason why you should insert it slowly.

I like to leave a small air bubble at the tip of the syringe so that I don't have to pull back to much to see if I have registered blood. Do not worry about shooting up air, even 40-50 units isn't going to hurt you.

Just follow the guidelines of the thread and be safe. No one ever taught me and I used poorly guided advice without pictures, and ended up stabbing myself way too many times and missing repeated shots.

The bump in your arm and lack of rush means you probably missed the vein and the subcutaneous bolus will absorb slowly.

There will assuredly be lots of cutting agent unless you chemical purify it or made it yourself. If you must heat allow it to cool back down to room temperature before injecting. Heroin is very soluble in cold water and anything that goes into solution only after heating is cut. It may have some heroin stuck inside it but if you had pure heroin it would all dissolve in cold water.
 
Heating it is NOT necessary. Do not heat heroin. Heroin is more than soluble in cold water. Also, heating the spoon does absolutely nothing to kill bacteria. You need to boil water for AT LEAST 20 minutes to kill off bacteria.
 
You are probably right. I have usually done this with H and have never had negative side effects. I usually only cold shoot coke or dilaudid.
None of you heat black tar at all? I thought I remember heating to accelerate the dissolving of just about anything.

But, I am not the be all end all.
 
I ended up using half a bag roughly the size of thE black part of the plunger mixed it with about .3ccs of Poland spring then put a q tip in the souliton. I then put my needle in the q tip and drew alitte less then the 3ccs. The water was almost as clear as when input it in, is this normal? AftEr a couple misses of just drawing back air, I finally found the vein and slowly administered the 3ccs then carefully withdrew the needle. I didn't really feel much is this because I didn't do something right or cause I didn't use enough dope? The dope I have I know is decent quality, and I have a rather high tolerance for insufflating it but being my first time mainlining I just did half a bag. Also, how many uses should/could I get from the one needle. I'd like to only use it once but I don't hav access to needles very readily
 
It sounds like you did it just right, but could simply be that you didn't use enough dope. When I went from insufflating to IV I never got much of anything from less than 2-3 bags. I mean 1 bag would take the withdrawal away but barely get me high. GOod you started small, though.
 
I personally use it until I have to put a lot more pressure than I did originally. Probably 5-8 uses. The more dull the needle, the higher the chance of scarring and/or blowing the vein, as I said earlier.

Increase the dose very slightly if you do. Also, if you don't feel anything after a dose, wait at least 15 minutes before administering more.
