So yesterday night I shot up for the first time. I made somee mistakes I know, like leaving the band on my arm a bit long, and went in at closer to a ninety degree angle. I read all I could on this and understand my mystake. But after all this my arm hurts a bit, feels rather sore as if I strained something. I shot in the vein around the middle of my arm, inner elbowish area. There's no bruising, lumps, anything. Just a little red dot on the injection site. Looks far better than most of the pictures you'd see on google. So why would I feel sore like this afterward, especially when I straighten out my arm or press it to my shoulder? Besides the stuff I did wrong, I registered, I shot(needle moved a tiny bit at best) and I pulled out, the put alcohol and pressure on it. What did I do wrong to be sore? Or is this normal after injection for the first time? I'm rather confused.

^ Sometimes people just do feel sore.. but it sounds like you may have missed a tiny bit and given yourself a small subcut (or even IM if you went in at 90 degrees) shot. At that angle it's easy and entirely possible for the needle to be half in the vein and half not, so even though you register and it seems to work, you still have some leakage which can cause soreness. Or perhaps when the needle moved a tiny bit it slipped out, especially at a steep angle like that..
It's good that you don't have a lump or redness or anything - I would just keep a close eye on it, and adjust your technique next time (sounds like you've already done some reading, but if you haven't seen it check out the IV complications megathread in the OD Directory

If you develop swelling/tenderness/heat/redness then you could have an abscess on it's way so get it checked by a doctor - hopefully you will be fine though.
Remeber fresh needle every time, rotate your sites, micron filter, ideally sterile water ampoules, stay as sterile as possible!
Moving this to OD as they have more experience in IV complications.
