First time, safety matters!

I'm gettin some adderall 30 mg xr. Never taken a stim in my life. My DOC are weed n opiates/benzos.

Now for a newb with no tolerance, obviously, do I take a whole 30 mg? N do I crush the time release or would tha possibly b too much for me?

I'm 5'5 & 130 lbs if that matters.
 
Good thing its Adderall and not Ritalin I always called Adderall poor man E and Ritalin poor mans coke. Both are speedy and make you talkative, but Adderall has more euphoria and caused me less jitters. They both last a while, I found the Adderall to be nice and the Ritalin I just wanted to wear off.

Honestly I cannot help you with the dosing but I am pretty sure you can find those answers somewhere on the Interweb. I am guessing if its just one pill it won't kill you, but you might not want to take that much as it could be unenjoyable. IMO it is time released so just swallow it.

Here is something I found from a website:

"Adults

In adults with ADHD who are either starting treatment for the first time or switching from another medication, the recommended dose is 20 mg/day."

^That is for XR, so 30 mg is probably not too crazy of a dose. I guess you could break it and take 1/4's of the pill, or are those gel caps? I have seen friends crack open the gel caps and crush the little pellets to powder then enjoy nasally. Judging by my friends inability to shut up for the rest of the night I imagine it worked. You could do small doses that way, or just break it up and take small doses by mouth. I also just read that 20 mg XR is = 10 mg IR. So try breaking it up into 3rds, and go up as you feel necessary.

You only need one........ Just crush the beads and still take orally... Very stimulating and relaxing at the same time...

I don’t recommend weed with it ... I do recommend mixing with ambien cr...

Going overboard will have you going nuts...
 
Thanks guys =) I took 1 30 mg xr without crushin the beads n it was so amazin!

Surprisingly no anxiety, I could think great, relaxed n happy!! I'm thinkin I have ADD lol.

The come down wasn't much fun tho. 9+ hrs later I felt anxiety but kpins n a risperidone fixed it. Choc helped too, which seemed weird. Placebo?
 
actually, 30mg can be potentially a high dose for people who never touched stimulants in there life, well a high enough dose to get them euphoric, and the whole appetite loss, and possible insomnia. as far as crushing the XR beads, as being new to this drug, your going to get all 30mg at once, when ur really intended to get 15mg immediately, and 15mg later on if u dont crush the beads...i been abusing adderall for 15yrs on and off, and just one 30mg adderall gets me high. i would try to stay under 20mg's if ur new to stims, so ur not at risk of becoming euphoric and finding a liking to the drug, along with the side effects, appetite loss, Overstimulation, depression, insomnia...amphetamines will welcome you into a very ugly horrid world, so be careful

I believe you officially took a recreational dose of adderall, not a therapeutic dose, adderall is not intended to make you feel the way you described, you simply took too much, which isnt shame on the doctor, its a game of hit or miss, and re-adjusting, just hope u dont get hooked to that feeling and keep popping more, cause over time, the high will be shortened, the magic effects will diminish, and negative side effects will dominate over positive side effects
 
Glad you had a good time BabyGurl.

Just make sure you don't take the risperidone when you're actually still peaking. When you're crashing, sure, but not when high and feel like ending it in a hurry.

I really like that term a lot "Adderall is poor mans MDMA" cuz its so true , none of my friends agree with me on that tho
 
^ ya I only have used it a few times so I am sure someone prescribed it or abusing it quite often is going to think its a little overboard. But it was probably more similar to MDMA than anything I can remember taking, I mean its called a "poor man's" substitute so it isn't going to be as good. Mainly I think those 2 substances are the only 2 uppers I have fully enjoyed being a much bigger fan of sedatives and opioids.

Hey man based on your original statement, which included your height and weight. Personally I am about 6'1'' and about 150lbs. I developed over time a very high tolerance to adderall (dextroamphetamine/amphetamine); but it didn't happen over night. 30mgs used to get me a nice buzz for a while when i was about 16 or 17. I had zero tolerance at that point and had barely experimented with adderall. For you personally I would suggest 40mgs as a starter buzz; 30 will work, but i'll add that it will fade relatively quickly and leave you strung and a bit tweaked. Shoot for 40mgs if you have it available. If not; 30 will work. Enjoy! Amphetamines (rx amphetamines at least) are one of my favorite highs. ;)

I'm usually a downer type person, opiates..benzos..etc. But I like this stuff a lot. Not gonna make it a habit tho. Maybe 2-3 times a month bc I can see that bein highly addictive.

Might b prescribed it Weds tho bc the test run worked well. Then I guess I'll cross that bridge at that time.
