First Time Oxycodone - How long do effects last?

On Saturday afternoon I swallowed 15mg of Oxycodone pills. This was my first time taking Oxycodone (or any other opiate drug).

Sunday morning when I woke up I had these symptoms: Humming in the ears, constricted pupils, mild depression. It is now Monday evening and I still have these symptoms. Is this normal? When can I expect these things to go away? I didn't think 15mg was a large dose but the effects seem to last for a long time.

Everybody's body reacts differently to drugs. You may have a slower metabolism.

Two days is quite a while, but for a first time, I can see that being possible to an extent.

It shouldn't last too long.. honestly, im surprised you had such side effects from such a low dose.
But everybody does react differently. Im certainly not a doctor but with that being said, I cant imagine your symptoms are anything to worry about.

Just be careful with the Opiates. Or with any drug for that matter! Its easy to get hooked. Happens without you even realizing it.
I speak from my own experience.

To followup on my original post: I just don't get along with Oxycodone. I really can't explain this but for some reason my 15mg dose from 9 days ago is still affecting me. I still have a slight buzzing in my head when I go to bed and my libido is definitely reduced. Occasionally I'll get this feeling in my head of just not being right and kind of disconnected (hard to explain). The feeling is similar to when I tried Prozac a couple of years ago. Except the Prozac feeling went away when I stopped using it, now I'm wondering if my current condition will ever go away. But other times I do feel genuine joy, especially when around friends and family.

I never even felt any euphoria when I took the Oxycodone. From what I read most people feel euphoria at 15mg, but I just felt a small buzz and that is about it. Maybe I'm immune to it for some reason, I'm not sure.
