First time on LSD (and here, so be kind please :p )

So, hi there !

I'm new here at bluelight, so i apologize in advance for any inconvinients that i might cause, and for the writing also because i'm portuguese, so i'll see what i can do :p

I am a relatively short time drug user, aside from the canabinoides (hash mostely here). I've used MDMA, cocaine and speed. I like to consider myself a very responsable person on what concernes drug using, so i allways try my best to space them out and all of that. I allways liked MDMA, but because, OMO, of a long term use of antidepressants in the past, it just does'nt Kick in like before.

I allways wanted to try LSD , but it was my choice to wait a few years for me to try it, and now as come the time for it. So, my question is: I can get my hands on some Hoffman's "stamps" (?), are these good for a first time? OR it would be better liquid LSD? How should i dose it ? (split in quarters, halves...?) And what are your advices for a first time user of LSD (setting, music, environment, security, etc...)

I hope i did alright with my first post here :)

BTW: Great forum, i've been 'lurking' here for aaaaages, it became almost my 'DrugsWiki' :p

I believe you meant 25-X NBOME, 2C-X doses are way too large to fit on blotters. If you invest in an regent test you could test your supposed LSD to be sure.
 
Yes, you are right. I've heard rumors that over half of the LSD sold these days is actually mostly 25 x nbome or just straight 25 nbome. People naive to LSD won't know that they just got greeked.
 
ive gotten all different kinds of "LSD". ranging from DOx, to nbome, to LSD-25, to some "3+ days on a blotter" shit.

I never trust that shit anymore, plus with these nbomes that are floating around, some people fuck up laying out the blotters resulting in people getting fucked off of one single blotter. shit is all fake, its dangerous, and the "doses" are even inconsistent. someone my friend knew apparently died from one blotter of 25i-nBOME sold as LSD, while another person was apparently fine off of 3 blotters of the same exact stuff. why it's always important to test your shit. ignorance is NOT bliss in these situations.

on the other hand, if you are lucky enough to find some clean LSD, shit can be incredible. no other psychedelic or even drug experience like it in my opinion.
 
LSD is complicated to manufacture. I seriously doubt anything sold as LSD actually has any true LSD in it. Lol. I wont even consider looking for it because I don't want to risk getting rhabdomyolysis caused by the nbome that is usually the primary ingredient. The risk is very real and fatal.
 
just looked up rhabdomyolysis and that's scary shit. never thought of that as a possibility. would you know if you had it? especially after 6 months off of everything (but weed, drinking, and prescribed meds)
 
Hi Kikz.

I'm an old lurker. Your title, "First time on LSD. . . " is rather provocative for someone like myself who long-ago managed
to wind-up with a serious psychological addiction to the stuff. My varied experiences would lead me to reaffirm what you'll
hear here. That is, "Set and setting" I say this just wishing you a wonderful experience. Now, I am not sure about this, someone
could probably chime in, but isn't it true that LSD will fluoresce under black-light (like harmalas) while nbomes will not? Of course, all
that glows is not LSD, but this might provide an initial testing criteria.
I think if I could take my first trip again, I would like to experience the first part of the trip somewhere safe and familiar like my old
dorm room, or a good friends house, but after the peak of the experience, I would like to explore. I thought I would like to go to a museum, or
a planetarium. The forest or the water's edge can be nice, but just use common-sense and be safe. Venturing out in public on acid can seem so
wonderful and yet so strange. It is nice to be able to retire to a comfortable place with friends for awhile where you can just reflect.
 
You would definitely know. It usually only happens within 12 hours of dosing. Nbome seems to cause muscle breakdown in some users.
 
phew, relieved. I did have a really horrible time on that "3 days on a blotter" stuff. I was in ICU at the 3rd day, was aching, and couldn't take a piss though I had too. felt like my stomach was falling apart, and no matter how I tried to lay down (or stand), it was horrible. basically like I was slowly dying. valium, xanax, ativan... none of it helped. all that helped was the ambien because it forced me to go to sleep. i couldn't get myself to sleep for the entire duration of the trip until that point. since that day, I worry about everything, if I can even relate to it in any way.

Actually pretty much all the LSD seized by law enforcement is LSD, and if those squares can find it, I'm sure plenty of us hep cats can as well ;)

Granted the odd sheet of DOx gets passed off as, and the recent proliferation of bomamines is bound to result in some misrepresentation. But these can be avoided by not buying drugs from sketchy fucks or strangers. Also reagent tests are advisable.

This may have been true prior to 2012, but now I'm not so sure about it. There is very little testing actually done by law enforcement. Say you sell an NBOME to a dealer, he thinks it's LSD. He is busted by police. A majority of the time there will be no actual testing on it and he will be charged with LSD trafficking.

When the DEA busts large-scale operations on the other hand, they do testing, and it is almost always LSD. This is because people in the large-scale aren't misrepresenting stuff.

I even get NBOMe'd once last summer by an old hippy who I really believe didn't know any better. In my tripping years (since 2004-2005ish) I have never once been sold something as acid that wasn't actually LSD until then. DOx and other chemicals were never as prevalent as the NBOMes are now. Vendors back then were a lot more discreet & the scene overall was just better because of this. Only people truly seeking out DOx could get it. Now... you can just google and there's 100 different sources.

I've been following the Acid in America thread since I joined this website, and look how many people have gotten NBOMe'd since 2012.
 
It all depends on the area you live in. In my state this shit is all nbome. And yes LSD is very hard to manufacture. You need more than just a simple home lab set up. I doubt ANY LSD sold anywhere in the united states is completely pure anymore. The only way to know for sure is to test it. For me this is not worth it and I would rather not waste my time with finding LSD anymore.
 
So tired of this "there's no LSD anywhere" myth. It's been perpetuated for years and while there may be an upsurge in fake blotter being sold at the moment due to widespread distribution of cheap NBOMe compounds there is still plenty of LSD available all over the world. You just have to have the right connections and know where to look.

What do you mean by this exactly? Do you mean people are cutting LSD with other compounds before distribution? There is no evidence at all for that and it seems extremely unlikely

OP: Blotters would be fine for a first time or liquid, it makes little difference. A good setting would be somewhere secure, with some good friends and music. If you are concerned about the identity of the substance on the blotter buy some ehrlich's reagent.
