I would just eat the 1/8th to myself. And I cant see either of those working good with the body feel of mushrooms. But then again thats just me.

^The caps being black doesn't necessarily mean anything bad. Are they slimy/squishy, do they smell funky?

For your first trip (is this your first trip at all*, or just with shrooms?), I would recommend taking them by themselves. You can use the oxy to ameliorate negative feelings if you absolutely must, but otherwise I'd avoid it until you've gained some experienced. Neither would "potentiate" the effects, though they will strongly flavor the experience.
