First time lorazepam

I took 4mg lorazepam (w/ mild tolerance ) and i feel really hot all over my body and slightly trippy after 2 hours? it's hard to focus and letters on the screen etc are moving about.

I read something about it being trippy? Anyone have more info?

It feels like a nice stoned feeling but also trippy, which i never experienced with clonazepam or diazepam.

All benzos are slightly different from each other. Higher doses of lorazepam (and 4mg lorazepam is equal to about 40mg diazepam) could certainly cause changes in vision.

What doses of clonazepam and diazepam were/are you usually taking?

I have never personally experienced this with lorazepam...

Lorazepam is one of my favorite benzodiazepines too. You possibly just took too much tho' in comparison to your tolerance and are borderline sedated. Take a nap.

What doses of clonazepam and diazepam were/are you usually taking?

Last weekend I did 6mg of clonazepam, felt fine for 4-5 hours but really tired then slept for whole day.

I've also done 8mg of etizolam (aprox 80mg ) valium and not had any visual effects or blackouts

on the comparison charts, 2mg of lorazepam is 1mg of clonazepam .

I wouldn't say "trippy" I remember double vision and forgetting everything on high doses of alprazolam. Have fun.

im just going to add my question to this instead of starting a new thread, i just ate 1mg of lorazepam about an hour before i drank a 4 loko. i was just wondering on the long halflife i feel fine right now i was just wondering if i can expect it to kick in harder later?

I'm differently feeling something abnormal from my usual benzo abuses, mild OEVs and objects moving etc on screen and my body is REALLY hot almost like a fever.

Its been 2 hours since I ingested on empty stomach so I should be peaking, i do feel "benzo stoned" but something else too.

the lorazepams came from legit pharma packaging so, idk.

I just took 7mg of clonazepam and 20mg 'done and feel fine...this is after not taking any benzos for the last month. I guess after getting wrecked off oxy for the last year, benzos are harder to enjoy

maybe you took too much...or you just react differently than most...

Hey man for what its worth, the first time i ever took lorazepam i got the same kinda trippy experience you are talking about and no other benzo has had any kind of effect that would come close to it and ive taken all kinds of different benzos. i dont know what it is about ativan but that shit is really weird for me.. just to make it clear though this was not a bad time just weird as hell, its actually one of the best benzo experiences ever.

first time i took it with good ol' tramadol...smoke a bowl an hr. later...lovely experience.

Im prescribed 2mg Lorazepam a day for anxiety and its hardly effective unless i take two days doses
