Opioids First time lightweight vicodin use

Hello everyone, so a turtle I know managed to get a few M357 vicodin pills and just took 2 of them. The only other opiate this turtle has used is percs, and they were very low dose (he took 1 5mg pill on 2 different occasions)

He knows opiates can be dangerous due to dependence, but he really has no connects and a friend just gave him some so he's just looking to get a good experience. He is on a very empty stomach & took the two pills orally about 15 mins ago & believes their kicking in now. He was wondering though when dealing with low doses of vicodin, is it best just to eat the pills? They are pretty big for such a small dose, so snorting them seems pointless as there is no extend release factor. The water diffusion also seems sort of pointless if you don't intend on taking much, he actually had a light-headache beforehand and it's gone now!

This turtle just got back from a night out with his turtle friends, & just plans to chill under low lights and watch some netflix for the rest of the night. He wants to take 1 more pill but is unsure if it would effect sleep, and was also wondering if it would be safe to take an antihistamine later on to help with sleep aswell? (this turtle always takes some OTC sleep aids to help with sleep nightly, in safe non-recreational dosages)

The M357's are hydrocodone/APAP 5/500mg. I would say a naive user is safe taking up to 4 of them. Eating them whole is fine with such a low dose.
Oxycodone (in percocets) is roughly 1.5 to 2 times as strong as hydrocodone, though it varies between individuals.

I recommend combining opiates with a sedating antihistamine like doxylamine, diphenhydramine, hydroxyzine etc. It's perfectly safe and enhances your high.

Thank you for the advice! I don't plan on taking painkillers in the near future at all so I'll take some cvs brand antihistamines & see where it takes me! (just a note, CVS sells 32 softgel 50mg Dipenhydramine pills at a very good price, I found the CVS brand nyquil to be lackluster for some reason compared to brand-name but these pills have been a godsend!)
