I did heroin for the first time about an hour ago, and just now it made me puke.
I couldn't tell you how much I used, but I had someone that's been doing it for 10 years and know what they're doing make my shot, so I know it wasn't too much.
I feel great besides the puking. Is this normal, or what?

puking is normal on opiates when you get very high

for me puking is almost a warning sign that i pushed the dose too high

If u kno whats best for your future youd leave the H alone for good !! Sry to derail not judging u i was on it for. 5 cruel years

vomiting is a sign your dose is too high, generally.

This.

The first few times people use opiates, symptoms like vomiting, sweating, headache, etc, are common. Like Sekio said, it's usually because you have done too much but also because your body just isn't used to the drugs.

After time, those negative side effects do go away, but at that point you have to worry about physical dependency which is 10x worse..

Right now you're getting sick because of using the H itself... soon you'll be getting sick from not using it and the only way to feel better is to do more..

Quit before that happens man.

When I used heroin I used to puke every time I shot up. Whether I had done a lot or a little, I'd always puke. Everyone's body is different. Some people get sick when they use and I also know people who never have. Promethazine is great, it always helped my nausea plus its an opiate potentiator, weed also helps a little too imo

Vomiting is tits on opiates. Oxymorphone pukes are the best though, but yeah, like one said above...quit while you're ahead...I was only on dope for a good solid 4 months, with a little over 6 months of sporadic use. If I was smart I would've gone to the hospital on several occasions from withdrawal, but I'm not. I ended up getting on Subutex, after almost finishing Suboxone and noticing nasty sensations on lower doses. All went away after I switched, but so did my doctor. He decided to tell my Mom, not me, that I was doctor shopping, which was false.

After spending a lot of time finding doctors that would prescribe me Subutex, I ended up being on it for over 4 years straight. The end of it was only decided when my last doctor switched me to suboxone. Which I wouldn't even take when I was sick, which was every other two weeks, cuz I'd like to abuse my bupe script and girl's bupe&xanax script faster than a rational being should. Regardless I'd get sick every two weeks for two weeks, I'd still go through this cycle for at least a year.

It stops being fun, and it eventually becomes necessity. A lot of us start out with control, but it will eventually grip you and love you to death.

:) smile (:

Yeah very normal when someone first experiences it, generally on your first time as other noted you take too much or you could say it is too much for your system. Thing is it is different to normal vomiting in that it is almost pleasurable. There is none of the nasty effects we associate with vomiting, here you just open your mouth and out it comes and you are fine afterwards.

The thing is, now that you have crossed the opiate line where will it take you. It is easy for me to said avoid it and give you a long long long list of all the negative things that happen in my life due to opiates; but still I love them.

All I can say is try to think about it the next few times you use opiates. At this point you can easily walk away from them, each time you use the it will be harder and harder to just walk. May you are one on those people who can just a hit a few times a year, but those people are few and far between.

I really hope I don't sound preachy, because that is the last thing I want, just think about it and if you decide to continue learn as much about opiates and how to use them as you can. In other words, if you decide to use try to use safely. Cheers.

My girlfriend always vomits after doing opiates of any kind, even when I gave her 5mg. Everybody is different just keep it in check it's hard to measure the potency of H.

I puked my first couple times and got killer headaches.
Every other time since then I've been completely fine, mind you I've never used a needle.
Remember to drink water and it should help with the nausea, but piling and nausea is fairly common with opiate use

Last time I tried heroin, maybe 2 months ago, I slept 8 hours then woke up vomiting. Unable to keep water in my belly. Just wake up, vomit, hydrate, doze for an hour. Wake up, vomit, hydrate, doze. Wake up, vomit, hydrate doze. Wake up, vomit, hydrate, doze.

I gave the rest of the heroin away and said "fuck this shit. I aint payin to get sick!!" The heroin users Ive talked to said to cut my dose next time to avoid sickness. Not sure if Ill ever mess with it again though.

If you are new to heroin you should really start out by snorting it instead of going straight to IVing it. I have even puked from snorting it after taking a long break, so it's no surprise that you puked after doing it your first time via intravenous administration.

Just wait until you start missing being able to puke off low doses of opiates. Ahhh, I remember when I could puke off 160mg of codeine, but I really do wish I'd never started, and you will too in a few years. It's a slippery slope that's covered in glass.

I'm not going to do heroin more than maybe a few more times in my lifetime. I like meth way more anyways. And I have no desire to do heroin again at this point. It was a good experience, but I'm not looking to use it every day.

Never say "maybe a few more times".Sorry not trying to sound preachy, but a few times just might be the start of a loooooooooooong love/hate relationship. Please be careful & leave it alone, TB.
