First time heroin use; hated it

I tried heroin, definitely good stuff. I snorted half the bag first, which felt okay. I got that wave of euphoria but minor, it relaxed me. It was barely anything so I snort the other half. This was more intense, more of that euphoria, brain-dead, physically unable to function, a tiny bit nauseous. It was boring as fuck so I smoked some bud and this helped a bit, I felt better in some ways but over the next hour it started feeling really shitty. I was aggravated by every little thing, couldn't really walk or speak correctly, was nauseous (vomitted 5 times, and no that wasn't the bad part because throwing up did feel nice), basically the whole time I was asleep but awake. It felt nice in certain ways...I guess...but I expected heroin to be so much better than that. What I want to know is how anyone enjoys this? Or was this experience an anomaly (by the way my friend had the exact same experience)?

It's definitely not for me and I have/had no plans to do it more than once. But I'm wondering why it was like that.

Oh I forgot to mention: About 3 hours in, because DMT seems to restore my mind, I took a single hit of DMT (as little as 5-15mg could've been in it). I immediately vomited. I felt a lot better only for about 10 minutes then back to shit.
Later that night about 5 hours in (feeling just as bad) I snorted 110mg of MDMA again hoping to restore my mind. I figured a stimulant/psychedelic was perfect for this. Again I threw up, immediately after insufflating it. I felt so much better, but the effect only lasted about 2 hours and then I just felt really tired and went to sleep.

I would beg the question of what makes you so sure it's good stuff if both you and your friend had shit experiences? Not saying you're wrong, but I wouldn't ignore the possibility given the information you've presented. Usually throwing up is associated with doing too much, but if you're saying you didn't get that high I don't know. I will tell you tho, I was also disappointed when I first tried heroin as I was an oxy user at the time. When you snort heroin, it's really no better than a large oxy dose as far as that euphoric rush you get. The overall high is going to be a little stronger tho. I'd say leave the heroin to the IV'ers.

I for one am glad that you didn't like it as Heroin's class of drugs (opiates / opioids) is very addictive and known to ruin people's lives rather quickly. That being said: have you ever tried Oxycodone or perhaps even Kratom instead of Heroin? Those two are somewhat less sedating (depends with Kratom) and can give you a good experience. Only try Oxycodone once since it is just as addictive as Heroin but without the social sitgma. :)

The source I obtained it from supplies to some of my friends. They're heroin addicts and I can assume they would know what's good or not, but you're right I can't be too sure. I've also tried oxycodone, hydrocodone, and codeine a couple times each. They all provide the same general experience, wth that fuzzy feeling and euphoria, but with heroin my body and mind were much more useless.
I actually know what Benadryl tastes like and feels like when snorted (do not ask why), and this was definitely not anything like it. It had that vinegar taste that I always hear about, didn't burn to snort.

You did too much? I like to do heroin and do stuff, play games, walk around, go out etc. I don't like nodding out, because that's when it feels like it is too much and that's when you throw up and are unable to function.
Also first time on heroin is always kinda weird, your kinda like .... that's it? 2nd and 3rd time you start to get use to the feeling and love it, glad you didn't like it. You're saving your self a lot of trouble and pain.

everyone reacts differently to the same drug count yourself lucky you don't like heroin it's a blessing in disguise

Opiates are an aquired taste. First time is usually underwhelming, in contrast to what most people think. You need to adjust the dosage before opiates become enjoyable, the first time is usually accompanied by nausea and other side effects that ruin the experience.
