First time heroin dosage question (mild tolerence)

Hi this is my first post, so sorry if I'm in the wrong place.

Ive used both codeine and morphine irregularly for several years, my typical dose is oral 400-500 mg codeine, or about 50 mg morphine (always oral), which is generally not a tremendously heavy hit for me.
A friend gave me some heroin which he says is about 75-80% pure. I was planning on snorting it but i was unsure how much to take as i didn't know the snorting to oral ratio. I was thinking about snorting about 50-60mg wouldn't be to much for the first time & i would be able to figure it out from there. I just wanted to be sure so as not to become a statistic, or waste it.
Any help is appreciated.

Just do a bump at a time, waiting 10-15 minutes between each, and you'll get the desired effect.

This is What i use too do-
1. Know your Tollerance.
2. Smoke a little bit off foil to get a feel of the strength snorting isent a good way to feel it out
cuz it take 10 mins to feel it when u take a hit off foil u feel it instantly so u will know if u need
to do more or less if its strong heroin after one small hit off foil u will realize u wont need much
more.
3.After u figure out the strength of the product u can start doing bumps or shots

Note: This is what i do it may not work for everyone.. i hope it helps.. be safe

I personally do NOT recommend smoking it. Much more fiendish and peak-y highs. Be patient, and just go with a small bump at a time. Yes it takes longer, but smoking it will also cause damage to your lungs.
