first time dxm dosage question?

i am 16 normally between 145-155 pounds and id like to know what would be an enjoyable dose for my first time trying dxm ive heard low doses arent always enjoyable so from your first experiences what would be a good dose for me?also how long is the onset/plateau/dowbuzz/after effects?
 
try 300mg for your first time


you'll start feeling it in an hour - peak effects 2-3 hours after dose total effects last bout 6-8 hours for me. after effects the next day are sensitivity to light/noise


try using the search button or google for such simple questions
 
alright thanks and alot of sources have different answers so im not sure wich to believe but if im getting advice from someone with personal experience it seems more likely to be good

Well, for a first timer a high dose might not be enjoyable at all. You don't want to jump into a high dose dxm trip especially if you don't have any experience with any other hallucinogens.

I'd say start out low second plateau. Around 200-300mgs maybe, and if you have any weed to smoke when you tripping they synergize very well. I'll never embark into dextrospace without having some buds handy :)

ive had two experiences with 2cxx , 6 with salvia,and one with shrooms so i have a little experience with hallucinogens and what drug doesnt weed go well with xD?
 
Yea I know weed goes good with everything haha, but seriously, there's something special about a dxm/thc combo. Try it, you'll love it <3

Sounds like your pretty experienced, personally I would go with Zicam cough spray. It's around 390 mg's that you drink in one little shot, and it absorbs very fast.

alright ill see if i can find zicam around here if not then ill probably just go for vicks dayquil or some fairly potent liquid gells and just take like 7-10 since their 30mgs each i think since those i know i can find here and ill be sure to add the green im geussing since ive heard dxm is fairly sedating the pot would make it even more relaxing thats my geuss why its a good combo or does it just bring the trip to a whole new level?
 
You heard dxm is sedating? I'd have to disagree. If anything its more stimulating. You'll prolly get really introspective n start thinkin bout all kinds of crazy shit. Good luck bro

lol thats good to know that'll probably make it more interesting and stimulating as in euhporia stimulating or just mind stimulating ?

Both. DXM is very euphoric especially when combined with some nice danks. Mind stimulating almost the whole time, you won't stop thinking.
 
Unless you go well into or past the 3rd plateau that is.

Which I think you could do with 300mg as small as you are. 300mg for my 250lbs gets me an amazing trip. 500mg put me deep into the 4th plateau (entirely numb, inability to move, no desire to see anything, speech of my friends sounding like it was inside my head, floating through the universe, definitely couldn't think about anything at all, except 'omg').

Try 150mg.

but all the first time reports ive seen of ppl between my weight and yours have all been 275mg + and they recall having a really good trip some even going up to 600 mg but i geuss i could start with 150 and see how it goes then just raise my dose
 
There are some who have an enzyme deficiency that prevents the body from processing the DXM as well as those who do not have the deficiency. One must start with a low dose to make sure that they don't feel f#cked up for days after and then they will know they can rock 300+mg trips.

One should not take anything with high amounts of guaifinesen or acetaminophen. Acetaminophen kills. Read the Erowid page on DXM very thoroughly.

alright ill be sure to start with the right amount and im aware of that i already took down a list of cough/cold medicines whos only active ingredient is dxm and i plan on looking for them as soon as i get the money
