So, i have 2 tabs of L that i wanna do with my friend. Both of us have never done it before. So heres the situation:

I wanna find a good time and place to do it. I'm definitely thinking I wanna do it at a nearby park, and im pretty sure I'd be safe there. Anyway, theres some annoying issues.

I dont want my girlfriend to know, and not talking to her for 8 hrs while im tripping would not be good (sounds rediculous, but still). So I'm thinking the best time to do it would definitely be late at night while shes asleep, if me and my friend snuck out and tripped would it be good? or would i get tired or something? Basically, how can I trip and not worry about the gf, and wheres some good places to do it? anything i need to know?

thanks guys if u want any more info lemme know

haha did you come for advice on how to use LSD or how to sneak in and out of your house? :P
I'm just messing with you, if you drop acid, no matter what hour, you will almost definitely not be sleeping I can assure you that.
A park at night should be fine, just try and keep it down if it's in a residential area, some friends of mine were aggressively approached by a nearby angry resident who was being kept up by their acid giggles, and it's not fun being chased by anyone on LSD.

The only advice I will give you if you're planning on tripping at a park, HAVE A BACKUP PLAN. If things go bad for whatever reason, have somewhere safe to go. Don't get caught out tripping balls, spiraling out of control with confusion and terror because something went wrong and you have no idea where to go or what to do with yourselves.

Other than that just use common sense, be safe and have fun.

well, i guess this is sneaking out advice, but you can always say you are at your friends/parents house sleeping over to housewath/babysit or whatever, so that you dont have to go back that same night....
if you trip the whole night the next morning you will be as tired as if you hadnt slept all night... so be ready with an equal excuse for that.
also remember to take into account the comeup and comedown time.

the better idea i think is to just talk to your girlfriend and say you will be out partying with some friends, doing stupid guy things, playing on the computer or whatnot, so that you can look tired and happy in the morning and she wont become overly suspicious of you sneaking out at night.

dude, thanks awesome answer! Backup plan i guess would be walking to my house and hanging in the basement (its an unfinished basement and not ideal, yet still safe and we wont get caught). So being late at night and stuff when we're ususally sleeping wouldnt effect the trip badly? Also, would the park be scary or anything at night? not that im scared of the dark or anything, it wouldnt scare me whatsoever under normal conditions.

woah, this is totally not about sneaking out advice. I dont live with my girlfriend, sneaking out is totally easy. As for being tired the next day, I can just sleep, thats not much of an issue. basically, the issue is not texting her for such a long period, to which there are 2 options: trip while shes at school, or while shes sleeping. basically my real questions are in the post above ^^ that i just said

I would not trip for the first time in any place outside of my house or a friend's house. In a park, there's a million things that can go wrong. These can cause you to get very paranoid. I tripped for the first time doing a nature walk, and I think that what was caused me to have a bad trip. I got extremely paranoid. By far the worst night of my life. If possible, I highly suggest being in an EXTREMELY safe environment the first time you trip. Trust me, you don't need to do anything crazy. Just watching trippy movies or listening to music is really cool. I would advise you to be extra safe until you get used to it.

You cannot start tripping when people are sleeping within your vicinity.
Your perception of time & senses will be completely altered where you may think you'll be quiet, but in reality it will be the opposite (louder).
Also, an LSD trip is not like drinking alcohol where you can just hide it or make it go away. The trip becomes you, and you become the trip.
Therefore no sneaky trippin'

I'm surprised that no one's addressed why you don't want your girlfriend to know. Surely a girlfriend is someone to love and trust and enjoy and share with... if you go round hiding things from her there are problems with your relationship. If my boyfriend ever posted a post like yours and I found it, I would be so upset. What's so bad about talking to your girlfriend? And if it's because she doesn't approve of you doing drugs then that's a part of your relationship you need to discuss. Hiding things NEVER I repeat NEVER ends well in relationships.

I'll tell you about my first trip so you can avoid repeating my errors.

I would trip with my best friend, hiding it from my girlfriend. For some reason, he couldn't meet me, so I took the acid alone at home, early morning, with my mother asleep.
Once I started tripping, I had an urge to go out and see the sun and so on. I had a wonderful walk by the lake nearby, listening to music. Beautiful day, sun, sky, Pink Floyd, all too beautiful.
After an hour, I came back home and started hearing the neighbour's voices all too loud. I went straight to bed, and got paranoid that mum would wake up. All music I heard had an overwhelming sense of drama and I had to lie in bed pretending to be asleep in case mum would get up. I thought my vision would melt, but had to control it so I could see mum if she came.
The time just stopped passing and I was sure that if I had to have a normal conversation, I'd speak in 1/10 of normal speed so she'd think I'm sick and dying and so on.
Also, my girlfriend texted me and I realized I had done it all wrong: you can't go on a trip without an anchor. I used to drink and get around my problems myself, but acid is quite different. I felt alone in the world.

Eventually, my trip ended and I told everyone I had overslept. Nobody complained. I had maybe the best (till then) hour of my life and the 5 worst.

After that, I've tripped with friends, I've learnt how to act normal for a few minutes, I've learnt the importance of planning my trips, I've gathered huge knowledge about life and, as it'd be quite selfish to hide all that knowledge from my girlfriend, I'm currently planning a first trip with her which I'm sure will be the ultimate love experience.

I wish you luck.

Because he's young, dumb, and wouldn't listen anyways. ;)

I understand both sides of the coin. I've eaten psychedelics at midnight when I had a busy day the next day just because I "couldn't wait". Now I've days where I could take them but it just seems like too much of a hassle! lol.

I think it's just a maturity thing. Plus many people want different things from their partners. For me I wouldn't continue to date someone if I couldn't see marrying them so I would talk to my partner first to see if they will be compatible with my LSD use because of they aren't, the one has to go.

what sort of things could go wrong in a park? like smoking weed, or sober, nothing could go wrong...so it must be something that would only be bad if tripping, what sort of things could go wrong?

This was my initial thought as well, however it's not really our position to tell him how to run his relationship, he posted in the psychedelic section about using LSD for the first time, not the Relationship section about his girlfriend. Don't get me wrong I agree with what you're saying but that it's just not in our place I think, but that's just my opinion, please don't take this as any kind of attack.

Now as for whether the park will terrifying at night, I have your answer for you, I have no idea. You have no idea how your brain is going to react with LSD, it might be scary although if it's anything like most first time LSD experiences it will be a highly giggly, highly interesting, and an altogether new experience. This is why I say have a backup plan, because the effects are somewhat unpredictable.
Also I should mention that the first time I did LSD was at a doof, or psytrance festival, I had never been to one before and it was an altogether totally new and eye opening experience, and at times a bit of an embarrassing one but I was having so much fun I simply didn't care :P so don't listen to anyone that says you definitely won't have a good time at the park, don't listen to anyone who says you definitely will have a good time at the park because they just don't know. Go with your own instincts and do what you feel is most comfortable for no one else but you and your trip buddy.

Just have a backup just in case and if things do go bad and you feel like you can't really take it get to a computer (If you're able to safely and not wake your parents) and read this:

It's all in your head, and it is only temporary. Relax. Focus. And Enjoy :)

Having an anchor is having someone to trust. Someone to help you not sink in a turbulent first experience.

I agree with Tangerino, nobody can tell you what things can go right or wrong in a park, each trip is unique, but with planning and back up plans you'll be alright.

Good call Efoj. This is where a lot of people get caught with psychedelics. Psychedelics make you think in a very raw way. You have to really, in your heart and mind trust this person because if you don't it could cause problems. The same person you might take MDMA with or get drunk with might not be the same person you would take LSD with if that makes sense.

On another note I noticed you said that you've taken DXM before. If you're experienced with that I think you'll be fine with LSD. I find LSD much more lucid than DXM. It might be more trippy but I think you'd still be a lot more clear headed than you would if you were on DXM. You just might want to talk to your mom about the meaning of life at 4 AM.

Also, like the other guy said, I know you didn't ask for relationship advice but I feel I would be remiss in my duties not to make a suggestion or two, just because I've been there. I would just encourage you to think about this relationship, what you want from it and what you may want from future relationships. I think that communication and honesty are a top priority in healthy relationships and the sooner one starts practicing those things the easier they will come later on down the line. If your relationship isn't anything serious I apologize for my unsolicited advice. I know I've hurt myself; and it hurts me to see others' relationships take a hit over lying or drugs. <3

It's not so much that something will go wrong as it is you thinking about stuff that could go wrong. For me, I was constantly paranoid about us being followed and about getting the cops called on us. If you're in your house, you feel completely safe. Who's going to call the cops on you in your house? Who's going to follow you in your house? It's somewhere you've spent a large part of your life in, and it's somewhere you feel 100% totally safe. I don't think I can reiterate enough how incredibly important it is for you to feel 100% safe.

As other people mentioned, having a good friend as an anchor is important. But aside from that, I would also suggest having something that will anchor you to reality just incase you need it. For me, that was the clock on my phone. Looking at time moving forward normally on my clock helped pull me through a bad place. So having something that will pull your mind back to reality and make you realize that you're in real life is good to have just as a backup.

yeah man, i've done DXM multiple times...not particularly high dosage, not more than ~1 bottle, but I've probably done it about 5-10 times. I dont think I've ever had a bad experience on it, but I also think that on DXM compared to shrooms, setting is much less important. I can do dxm anywhere and I dont really get uncomfortable, but I've had a bad shroom trip due to setting. Anyway, I'm not easily paranoid, and I definitely feel safe in this park. I've smoked there multiple times and I've done shrooms there (great trip at first, ended badly tho, it was cuz i ate too many :D). Also, this kid I'm planning on doing it with (call him J) , I've tripped DXM with him basically all of those times, and I've done shrooms with him too. The time I had a bad trip due to setting, it was at a kid's house who I dont really like or trust, and that gave me a bad trip. With the help of J, I talked myself out of the bad trip and had an awesome time at this kids house by realizing it didnt matter if there was somewhere else I'd rather be, it was all good and I should just ride the trip out. Its amazing how the world seems to completely change colors when going from a bad trip to a good one. So I think J is definitely a good anchor, my usual trip buddy, and I think that my experience with DXM and Shrooms will make me pretty capable of handling a trip. Some of the craziest shit i've done was overdosing on JWH in school, that was a total trip which i pulled through just fine. So yeah let me know what you think about what ive just said, and thiink ill be ok doing 1 of these tabs (which are 150ug).

Sure, I'll have my phone, my friend, and I'll know that I'm tripping (i think?). on all the other phsychedelics I've done, I've always realized that all the weird shit happening was because im on drugs. The park is huge, and it is not surrounded by residential area. When I did shrooms there, I had a bad trip because I took too much and wasnt ready (had tripped 1/2 eigth twice before, then took 4g on my 3rd trip ever and it was just too much). I was never worried about cops or being followed on shrooms, i dont think I would be on acid either? Not sure. But anyway, this thread has given me alot of advice, I'm confident about doing this with J, and I think I'll definitely be able to handle it. Thanks!
