Bupe First time bupe

I have a friend without computer access which is why I'm here. I've been researching off these forums for about a year now, but just recently decided to join. I have read 100 threads about how one must wait 24-48hrs to do opioids after doing a dose a bupe. My friend is pretty basic with his opiotes doing 20-30mg oxycodone while drinking to get a good buzz. Friend recently (within 24 hrs) tried bupe for his first time. A lose dose (2mg) was given. The effects left some to be desired. The question is, does that much time still need to pass before my friend can do opioids again? I am reading that often people have been dosing bupe for months and then trying to do other things right away, that is not the case. The 2mg was the first and only dose. My friend can not come by pain killers easily and does not wish to waste them. Thanks in advance.

The best rule of thumb for bupe is to wait until you start feeling shitty from whatever opiate you're already on..then it's time to dose your suboxone. If you're on suboxone, then visa versa, wait until about 48hours after your bupe dose and you should be able to feel other opiates again. If you've been taking suboxone for a while though, don't expect to feel the full effects of other opiates for a good 4 days or so..(from experience)

Everyones body is different.. some people need to wait longer than others. If your friend only took 2mg's and hasn't been on bupe long term, I don't imagine he needs to wait very long. Depending on how fast his metabolism is he'll probably be good in 12-24 hours. IME, bupe doesn't block much under 2mgs and especially under 1mg. 24 hours and your friend will probably be fine to use and not waste his shit.
