First Rave..

So I'm thinking about getting myself out to a rave. I'm real excited about it and ive been wanting to do it for a while. Im a little nervous and was wondering if anyone had any tips, things i should do, bring if i can, wear?

My boyfriend and I just moved to the area and were not really out going people, meeting new people is kinda hard so thats one of the reasons im worried..social anxiety ha. any tips? should i just go with the flow, hope everything works out for the best, go for it?
 
Yeah, a rave is all but good vibes! Haha, everyone is just super happy, chill, and inviting! Most people don't know people there anyways! Lol. It'd be a great way to meet new people. =)

Wear whatever you feel comfortable in! I usually dress-up in a really skanky way! But that's just me! Bwuahaha.
 
Oh you're gonna have a blast!!

I was really excited/nervous for my first night out in a real "rave" (more a nightclub, still a big session) and it was probably one of the best nights of my life (granted I floored myself on MDMA 30 minutes after getting there), I don't remember shit, apart from not seeing anything (eye wobbles too intense), hugging everyone and dancing all night. Amazing.
 
You should go to excision at the regency ballroom in San fran on saturday :D He spins amazing dubstep, and you and you're boyfriend are more then welcome to kick it with my friends and I. I'll give you guys some killer light shows haha.

This is a rave/club night in a nutshell, the majority of people are there to have a good time, to give and take, to make friends, dance to some sick music and buzz your tits off. :)

haha. idk bout saturday. but it does sound cool..mayyyybe ill check it out. i hope we go to this one..weve been meaning to get to one for forever.

its the one on st pattys day at supperculb. maybe you should go to that one :P
 
Excision is the shit. I saw him in Baltimore and Richmond and I definitely recommend going if you can make it happen. 50,000 watts is no joke! I didn't even roll in Richmond and had a fucking blast. Either way, don't be afraid of opening up a little bit wherever you do end up going. Like everyone else has said, raves are all about good vibes and just having a good time.
