I am a 30 year old male and I work as a Comic, Writer, and DJ in Connecticut. I shattered my right arm in a car accident when I was 13. I've been in pain ever since. I've always had minor anxiety and have been on Xanax since high school, but I've only started (Legally) taking opiate pain meds for 9 months. The first 2 months I was on vicodin 10/325 4x a day. The Dr said "Too much Tylenol", and switched me to oxycodone 10mg hcl 5x a day. My last visit he raised it to roxicodone 15mg 5x a day. Also, I tore my meniscus in my right knee (That is painful). I don't abuse or sell my pills and have passed every drug test. I'm also on Ambien 10mg for insomnia as needed, usually twice a week. I don't feel like my usual outgoing self taking these meds, but life without them would fucking such royally! So I'll continue with my treatment plan and see what happens. Thanks for reading.

Shitty predicament.
The weird thing i find is
- the people who want to abuse the meds, wish they could get into an accident like that for the drugs
- the people who had no interest in them but were put through living hell to get to where they are now, don't want the medicines (drugs) but get plenty of them.

Good luck to you on your journey through life with needing but not wanting the meds.
Kind like how i feel about taking my antipsychotics everyday.. but that's different, like apples and oranges though.

Welcome to Bluelight! :)
Any questions, feel free to ask %)
