First MDMA in 10 years tomorrow, but I'm on Moclobemide

Hi, need some guidance so I don't kick the bucket... I have a bachelor party tomorrow and we've decided to relive our youth. That involves ecstasy and shrooms (not together, last time was about 10 years ago) I did a bit of random googling earlier just to see if there are any contraindications with the meds I've been on for a while and it turns out Moclobemide is possibly the worst:(

I've searched now for the last 2 hours for new papers/info on the subject but not getting the right answers.

I'm dosing 300mg mornings only and last dose was about 12 hours ago. Party kicks off tomorrow, which is about 15 hours away, so effectively been off moclobemide for 27 hours.

Is this still a fatal combo? Everything I've searched so far doesn't mention if its users that take the 2 at the same time for the added high, or users who have been prescribed moclobemide.

Would really appreciate some guidance to survive the weekend
 
Sounds like a bad idea, I'd avoid it at all cost.

Personally, I'd wait a few weeks or even a month before taking any mdma.
 
Thanks for the quick reply, would it help if I took a quarter first to see if there is a problem or could that be an issue as well? I'd rather not do it if any amount is fatal, just want to be informed.
 
Having a good laugh and flashbacks here reading some threads, might have to get back on the bandwagon!
 
DO NOT DO IT MAN, DONT MIX!! Are you getting married?? I would not risk it, just do you in real time man. I would not risk the MD that is, getting married is fine. Lol! You can roll later, are you still depressed without the drug????
 
Yeah, if you take ecstasy with this, you will die.


The shrooms may be OK though, MAOIs and shrooms are supposed to work well together though I believe, but do some research on this specific drug and shrooms. MAOIs are very dangerous drugs to be messing around with, be careful.
 
So is the moclobemide still binding/blocking at full effect 24 hours later? What if I take a quarter instead of a full? Don't mean to be carrying on about this but I've looked forward to this weekend for the last few months.

Then you should have stopped taking moclobemide weeks ago, now it's simply too late. Mushrooms will be fine, people take moclobemide + shrooms together sometimes, but I recommend a lower dose of mushrooms because it might get intense.
 
I should have added, I'm on Concerta for ADD (changed my life), haven't taken today but have read it kills the effects of MDMA, would that help?
 
man, don't do it, MDMA and MAOi are said to be a very dangerous combination. also, shrooms + MAOi can make a trip more intense than you've ever experienced. be smart...

It would actually make you roll "harder", while also greatly increasing the neurotoxicity. If you took MDMA, an MAOI and a stimulant, I can almost guarentee you a trip to the hospital, with a life threatening case of Serotonin Syndrome

The shrooms + an MAOI will probably be enough. You might want to take a half dose than normal of the concerta the day of your trip
