I drank first, but I never really did it to get drunk. I just sort of did it.
Really, my first drug experience was with codeine.
After that pot, then I think I boomed straight for psychadelics like LSA and Salvia.
Once I obtained all that psychadelics had to offer me I went onto downers, dissociatives, and deleriants. Then one day I realized what a slow dream-like life I was living and started moving more into uppers. Amphetamine grabbed me by the balls and I pretty much became addicted. Then the source dried out and I sort of quit uppers.

After that I just moved onto anything I could get my hands on.

Now I've quit.

alcohol aside, tis funny- used to be so anti-drugs then that one fateful nite. Didn't even get into drinking till 19 really. Anywayz- that night, dunno what propelled me to sample, but had a pill n then a little later on some whizz. The beginning of the end..

Wow, how did you remember all that? Alcohol was by far the first, then tobacco then weed. Then took LSD for the first time, and psychs became my favorites aside from weed. The rest is history.

Edit: Alcohol by far is the gateway drug IMO. This poll probably will not show it, but out of everyone I have met and everyone I have talked to that have done or do drugs, they got drunk before anything else, except maybe tobacco. Marijuana, granted, is probably the first ILLEGAL thing most people have done, but I think that is due to the "soft drug" stigma that weed has. People don't feel as bad smoking weed as they do snorting coke or shooting heroin, they more easily accept or are talked into weed more than anything else. The fact that it "grows from the earth" helps out too.

In the strict sense. I was addicted to ritalin in 2nd grade. I would take 4 at a time without my parent's or doctor's consent, so my parent's were worried so they've stopped my treatment. but the first drug I've ever really tried was 20mg adderall, as I bought some from a friend in 8th grade, then came marijuana... I admit though, I have tried some nasty OTC products back then. I was curious to know. hehe

Valium was the first thing I tried. My friend's dad died and her dr gave her some diazepam and she gave some to me in English class. That was fun. Thanx for the memory i forgot about!

Eh picked opiate but I didn't see alcohol was only looking for illicit substances on menu, but first drug I ever did was vicodin is the 6th grade, pop'd pills heavy for a year then smoked weed.

Eh I should add that before I tried any kind of drug to be a gateway ever since I was a youngin i wanted to see what every feeling someone can have was like, mind altering substance induced or not.

weed 7th grade. was spending the night with a girlfriend, and we sampled her moms stash. didn't do any again until my senior year of high school. then right after i graduated high school, i took mdma, and got involved in the rave scene for a few years and spent every day on meth lsd x shrooms or a combo of all.

first drug I tried was alcohol, I was probably about 5 or 6 and I found a cup of beer on my moms dresser. I took a sip, gagged at how bad it tasted and didn't try drinking again until I was about 15 or 16, and my friends step-dad had a bottle of Tennessee moonshine....

When I was about 14, I went with a few friends to visit one's older sister at college five or six hours away... and things got out of hand quickly. First I got wasted a bit later minutes I got high and the next morning smoked a few cones of opium for the hangover. Haven't really looked back since.

Steroids were my gateway drug. Once you inject your ass full of testosterone, snorting coke doesn't seem so bad. E was a natural next step.

Before I really thought about it.. i would've said pot.. but i had 13 foot surgeries in elem/high school. So my first taste was Tylenol 3's.. which i had for pain.. but i took more than was prescribed..
