i have taken
+15different ssri and what not, none of witch touched my depression and anxiety the tiniest, i hate the side effects some made me feel' and the just dulled persection not helping just masking the things a bit... i cant for the life of me wonder out why they give suicidel mental patients ssri and send them home,...(ohh well thats for a nother time)...
then one day after about 2 years of trying diffent drugs my doc said we could try oxazepam for sleep and for anxiety when needed and after that all changed, not becourse of the medecine(i have ubesed them and is a addict,) but becourse the medecine slowly led me get back my old social life, i was tottally isolated at that point and its first now about 2 years more later its gotten back to somewhat normal life...
i dont use them every day, and i can go a weeks without, but when i have it i can allways take one relax and escape a little from all the chaos i know its wrong, but the only think that helped just a bit, i have abused plenty of much stronger benzo's and i actully think oxazepam is perfect for anxiety/depression/insomania/just relax a bit, just a small dose,
and i can be happy and relax without all the darkness, or sleep or just get me in mood for the days tasks it really works
it should be pointed out if you do use benzo's only use em when needed! not 3x a pill like some doctor tells you and they can really be help/usefull and you dont get addicted like if you take em every day.
JUST PLAESE DONT OVERDO EM! - then they dont help you! but will make it all worse! - Use only when needed!
well, i know i sound like some advatisement but just keep looking for a drug thats work for you, may it be ssri/snri/gaba or just some talk and activities in your life, you will only find it if you keep looking, and believe me when i say you will find it!
here are some things that works for me (depression/anxiety):
sunlight - (and lots of it, a b-vetamin lamp can even help, but is nowhere neer real sun)
activities(active and social prefered, some sort of body training need to be hard.)
good food, nutricients - (important to get your vitamin and nutrucient levels back.)
sleep cycle - (important, can be reduced or increased by depression, but keep rutine times.)
good rutines - (get up, eat, do some rutines, go to sleep the same times.)
cleaning - (yeah maby its not funny but if you do it it helps you allaround, social, mood,)
medicine - (Only if needed, medicine are only a last resort!.)
anti-depressive (SSRI/SNRI, do em if you think they work for you!)
opiates (it will only make it worse in the long run!)
benzo's (i use between 7.5-30mg oxazepam for anxiety or sleep. - only when needed! - if you overdo em they will make it worse!)
please find what works for you and only use medicine if you think thats what you need to do, i will advice you to try some of the other methods i wrote, i can my self tell you they work! with no side effect besides you getting better and better, where as medicine only masks the problems!'
