I'm gonna hop in here and say don't take steroids. From everything you've said, I don't think they are the right fit for your goals. I'm all for your ability to put whatever you wish into your body, and I think steroids have their place for competitive body-building, extreme endurance (cycling, etc.) if you feel comfortable with bending the rules. But to progress from a mediocre athlete to a great athlete, they aren't the choice -- training is.
I don't know the first fucking thing about steroids, but I have done excessive research and learning about strength training and building muscle mass without their use. Fact is, you DON'T need steroids for MASSIVE muscle gain, especially at your age. You just need to lift some fucking weights (with the right regimin) and eat a clean, high protein diet. If you were 6'3" and 260lbs of pure muscle, sure, juicing might be the right choice to put on the next 10 lbs. But you're a RAIL. You just need to go lift.
For example, would you believe it's possible to put on 34lbs of muscle in 28 days (on a 5'7" frame, no less) WITHOUT steroids? It is:

Many people dispute the results of this experiment, but I for one have achieved 15lbs in 6 weeks (at age 26, from 170lbs to 175lbs w/ 10lbs fat loss in 6 wks) using a modified version (less protein intake) simply because I didn't want to look like the Hulk. My girlfriend likes me muscular, but not too big.
If you want the best possible results for your sport, GET A COACH or find a team where the players are significantly better than you and train with them. The best way to become better at a sport is to be around those whose talents exceed your own.
I agree with a lot of that, but it is impossible to put on 34 lbs of muscle in 4 weeks time...the body doesn't not build muscle that quickly even with the use of AAS...at most the body will allow naturally just over 1 lb gain per week of pure muscle and that is on the extreme high end for someone who has no muscle mass, has never worked out a day in their life, and has never eaten even remotely close to properly...in studies it has been shown that around 3/4 of a pound per week with proper diet and training is what is can reasonably be expected depending on training experience
now factor in water, glycogen, fat, nitrogen, etc, then it is feasible to put on 34 lbs in that time frame, but not much of that is going to be pure muscle
that link is a joke to by the way...the pics are deceiving, he shaved his body and put on spray tan which makes him look much bigger and more defined, and he is trying to sell something...it looks like a bowflex commercial to me
