Fioricet with Codeine, effective for withdrawal?

I am new here and on day 3 of withdrawal. Today I took Fioricet with Codeine and it helped with my symptoms, but now I'm scared that it will prolong the symptoms. Is there any advice on this? I mean definitive answers. Please help me. I'm scared out of my mind!

Don't take opiate to "fight" opiate withdrawal. It will prolong the process.
