Fioricet (Butalbital) for recreational? Found three 50/40/325 tabs

My question is, is there anyway to get a recreational nice feeling from just three of these? My brother took two before and felt shaky/anxious and overall felt more of a caffeine high. The thing is that I have been reading up on these and since they contain Butalbital which of course is a barbiturate, a lot of people online we're saying it gives them a feeling somewhat to a benzodiazepine high. Should I take 3 at once or start with maybe even 2? Also what kind if any high should I be expecting from these? Thanks so much in advance

I used to get these prescribed for cluster headaches. I wouldn't say butalbital is real recreational but I never needed to take more than one because they were effective for that purpose. So don't take more than two tablets at a time and it might make you feel nice but nothing overwhelming.

i switched to Phrenilin, which is Fioricet w/o the caffeine. Still not a controlled substance. Anyhow, I respectfully disagree with the person above. I find butalbital to be an amazingly euphoric drug. Plus it lasts forever, and feels like a more "rounded" benzo...but better. The 150mg of butalbital you have is unlikely to get you very high. I take 200mg-400mg at a time if that says anything. But...yes, butalbital is a great drug.

Butalbital is more euphoric than phenobarbital, but much less than secobarbital for instance.

It's an "in between" barb. Still, quite useful and euphoric, but much less scripted than benzos nowadays.

Agree! A long time ago, I used to get these for migraines and always ran right through them. My doc finally said, you need to see a PM doc because I just can't deal with you. LOL! Anyway, I LOVED them. Nothing like a great high and a boost of caffeine to boot. When I played in a band years ago, and I had some, I loved playing so much. Like all my senses were just buzzing. Did I mention, I LOVED them!

I would take them all, it may be your only chance. It shouldn't be a dangerous amount of APAP and you only have 3anyway. You could start with 2 then wait an hour and take the other as well.

Phrenilin doesn't have the caffeine? I have to get this prescribed. I get fioricet for migraine and chronic cluster headhaches, and I don't like the shaky feeling.

OP don't take too many fioricet w/ o having a tolerance, they will make you feel miserable. Look up adverse effects.

First time I took them, didn't feel nothing. Second time after I went to the hospital for a severe onset, worst of my life headache (happened twice...) they gave me some. Opioids didn't do shit for that one.

Anyway, I took em a few at a time and felt very nice.

I actually DO take Phrenilin every day as a prophylactic for suicide headaches. I take it, even sober now, because it WORKS - better than anything else on the market...hands fucking down. It is literally a miracle drug for those of us cursed with chronic migraines/cluster headaches. I can't stress that enough. And yes, it can be highly abusable. I have given it to friends who are experienced drug users who have said that it was one of the best drugs they've ever tried.

I do go to a pain management doc to get it. I am prescribed up to twice the maximum recommended dose per day - 1-2 pills every 4 hours, but I never take more than 8 a day. Why? Because it fucking works and it is not necessary to take more than that...and my migraines are SEVERE and completely debilitating. I have considered suicide a good option more times than I can count, but not when I take Phrenilin regularly, as prescribed.
