This is standard procedure in England for quantities that small? That is severely fucked up.

If this happened in Ireland they would have to build about 50 new prisons just to deal with friday and Sat night. And thats not even taking into account drunken disorderly or fighting? Insane

It seems like a first-come-first-served type deal, they just bang people up for anything until the cells are full, then anything goes. Not sure if that's the way it works everywhere, I've been caught with pills in the Midlands and just had them taken off me, not even kicked out of the club, but in Devon they seem to be pretty hardline, if the bouncers catch you they'll give you to the police and they'll stick you in a cell. It's pretty shit. I feel for you Dan, unlucky mate.

certain places down here it seems give or take. theres certain venues that the bouncers turn a blind eye, they're open minded and aware a lot of people do drugs and they dont mind as long as your not taking the piss and doing it in full view. mainly the ones that hold decent dnb nights, and things like that. aka, the decent venues with good music
