Opioids Finding opium poppies around the neighbourhood.

Hi,
So I found a neighbouring garden with almost forty papaver flowers, with pods, and naturally I snagged a few. I also cut some of them to see if any pure opium would trickle out. The pods themselves seems to be a Godsend, I am amazed of how strong the pods are and how amazing they work, but for some reason the cut pods do not trickle out opium and when I stole those too, they were still white inside, after two days.

So, what can I do to make the plants make opium? And what is the best way to use these pods; so far I have blended them with plenty of citric acid and drunk the entire thing as a smoothie, but is there any way to smoke these?

Thanks, and sorry for such a silly thread, I'm at a place now where there are virtually no drug connections and am getting desperate, even placebos are better than nothing.
 
Thats because you score the pods while they are still planted. What you are doing wont work its like cutting down a maple tree and trying to get sap that runs up it. I dont know i havent actually done it but i would imagine it being dead stops the fluids from moving up and down the plant.

Sounds like your getting desperate. There are many types of poppies that do not produce opium, why do you think this isnt one of those more likely ones?
 
Are you sure they are Papaver Somniferum and not Papaver Orientale?

Most people domestically cultivate the latter, which looks extremely similar to the untrained eye, but actually harbours alot of nasties (such as thebaine and seizure-causing psychoactives)



Check out images of what you have found against images of Papaver Orientale and Somniferum.

And yes, you can't really get several scores of O from a cut plant. It mst still be in the grund to continue producing O. Also, never water it once the petals have fallen off.
Leave the plants in the gruond and score them at night.
Me personally, if it's only a few plants, I would ust take them, dry them, blend them and make a tea with them. Better than smoking a negligible amount of O

Thanks for reply, mate! Well, I can't be 100% sure that it really somniferum, nor that what I'm feeling is mostly placebo and citric acid; What I do know is that this garden had at least two kinds of poppies, one of them looking very much like somniferum and the other much more like Orientale. I was fearful that the wrong kind would bring more trouble than good, but couldn't find any info on it (I do feel a little unwell, but then again I'm a hyprocondriac and currently on a amphetamine comedown)
So, how CAN I make sure it's Somniferum or not? The look alike when pods it seems; Are the actual flowers different (some of the pods have bloomed), is the inside any different? A dubious site claimed that only Somniferum has white "sap" on the inside, while others are pink, etc.
I can't exactly ask the neighbour to see the seedpack... Chances are fifty/fifty; but the idea that the wrong ones have damaging effects worries me greatly. Jeezus, I'm turning into to some fourteen year old dying while trying to get high on drano.

Aside from labtests, is there any way of knowing?

Also, I +did+ make cuts into the pods while they were still growing, not after plucking them down, but after 24h no sap had come out, just some dark colour around the edge of the incision.

We do not allow poppy cultivation or opium harvesting questions in Other Drugs nor most of the other Drug or Focus Forums. It is highly illegal in most places in the world and there is no harm reduction aspect to it.
