Well guys here I am in all my magasty. I have used this valuable resource as well as erowid as long as I can remember having a computer that would run the programs. Not much luck with the Apple 2E's we had in school (Oregon Trail 4 Life).
Anyway before the intent we had three choices only, listen to the government (never a great idea) listen to idiot down the block who had a cousin (always someone's cousin) who after throughout unfortunate action or another had came to believe he was a glass of orange juice (never water, Apple juice, soda) always OJ. no matter if it was a smallish town like i.grew up I'm or the big city. If you were like myself and the others like me we knew it all to be propaganda so we had to try for ourselves.
One of many unfortunate side effects is the lack of real info out there. Now when at approximately 15y/0 a few of us had the chance to buy some much rooms we of course jumped at the opportunity. Now something we may have learned off a site such as this one is that just become mushrooms are sold 1/8 at a time the is probably very little need of quite such a dose. especially those ultra potent mini's the kind you get 30-40 of in an eighth. This was mine my best friend since kindergarten and my girl at the times first psychedelic experience. Talk about setting the bar high.
A few weeks later I'm at a show with my girl I think on the second dose of those shrooms, it's setbreak and she pretty much vanishes without so much as a word. I see her half way across the floor going in seemingly endless circular patterns getting nowhere on particular. I figure maybe she was lost looking for the bathroom what have you, but upon asking her I realize she is just following the arrows on the floor to se where they go (there are no arrows) so I ask you is dummer her following nonexistent arrows or me following her?
Anyway I could tell redicoulous stories all night long. I was around for the tail end of dead tour. I saw phish in their prime, other bands to try to pick up some of th GDs tour rats. Basically no real home just whatever city the band was playing in. I drove though tons of this beautiful country I would have never seen otherwise. String Cheese Incident Tour, to Umphre's Mcgee, and anywhere from Detroit Lakes Mn, to Little Turnip Town Georgia, east, south, west, orth, Vermont, Maine careful
never cross international lines, to risky.
I did just about ever drug you can think of and plenty of obscure RC's you can't. Acid was so cheap and plentiful before that big Picard bust in the abandoned missile silos in Kansas. DEA wants to take credit for getting the man behind 90% of the world's acid dupply. What a bunch of crap. Everyone else just had to lay low. Precursors only come from so many places.
Anyway that was just in time for the Extacy see to take hold. God the European pressies were god like. Then molly hit as we stated producing in this country. There was a period where more likely to be bunk or weak pills than molly. The Mexican cartels started bringing tons of cap pills, ans as soon good one was reaeased, got some street creditabitility, mimics just crappy versions often identical or enough to fool the untrained eye.
Then came all the Electronica music, dubstep, which killed the neo-hippy movement completely. It used to be about friends and family, brothers and sisters you just met, but we all took care of everyone. D someone passed out for the night in you camp chair, you didn't fuck.with him have four dudes move thim. You gave him another hit of grass if he could pull it together long enough and toss him a blanket. Perhaps you even have extra tent space, I was so lost one night I was never finding my campsite and 2 beautiful sisters shared their whiskey and then tent space.
It was a whole other world, there is nothing on earth like a grateful dead show. When the band was on, you were in tune with them the synergistic effects of the drugs, people, friends, sex, but on a higher level than that.
Well this got away from what I originally had in mind due to a but of speed. So feel free to ask me anything, hopefully I can be a contributing member of this forum. The list of things I haven't done is at this point smaller by far than the list I have done. In my younger days I was quite the psychonaught including some what my man Terrance McKenna would call heroic doses. Uppers are on once and a while as a tool to get things accomplished. Extacy is still fun ,but God I wish I could have that magic back. I'd argue The E helped, but you hear old timers talking that war about qualudes (don't get me wrong I'm sure the were all kinds of fun. But I think just being young not a care in the world, not knowing what as next. These are the factors that made these drugs so great.
Did some K some mxe much like k, 3meo - pcp if someone says it's similar they are a dirty liar. Doesn't take much and boy oh boy.
Opiates were the only drug that was a struggle to walk away from. Not sure the addiction will ever leave my brain. Everything else on this list I could never do again and feel no remorse. Smoking grass stopped being enjoyable as paranoia took over. Getting off Opiates was hard because everything is absentance based. A glass of wine with dinner is not the same.as a spliff with friends and is certainly not the same as a needle in your arm.
