I shoot roxies w cottons n I know this is bad, so I nedd some help. I need to know where I can locally buy micron filters or at a chaim store (home depot, etc.) Keep in mind there are no needle exchanges in my area, nor do I have a credit card to order from the net with. Also, what and how exactly do I ask for? Like, how do I word it? Much appreciation in advance

Alameda Chemical Supply has locations throughout the US.

Or go to the Whatman website (GE life sciences) and find a dealer near you.

Thank u for ur help, I am going to thoroughly research this. What exactly am I looking for though? Do I just ask do u have "micron filters "? What is the exact
Brand and product name? Also what is the right size to filter the roxies? Sry for all the questions but this is very important.
 
Whatman Sterile 0.2 µm PVDF Micron Filter is a popular brand and size.

Don't just ask for micron filters because there are all sorts of micron filters, for example you can get a micron filter to filter your drinking water from your tap, and you don't want that kind. You want the kind specifically meant for filtering solution meant for injection.

Even if you don't have a credit card you may still be able to get them online if the supplier takes PayPal, or you could get someone else to buy it for you and give them the cash.

If you can't find a micron filter anywhere, the next best solution is the Sterifilt filter or other similar filter meant for injection, which I know you you can buy online via PayPal, or might be able to get from a harm reduction outreach centre. Are you certain there are no needle exchanges or anything at all similar in your area?

It might have some info on the different brands and types available and help you figure out what to ask for when calling potential sellers without sounding too much like an illicit drug user.

Wait, you know where to find the sterifilt that will ship to the united states?

You want to ask for either:

"Whatman .2 micron sterile syringe filter" or
"Millipore .2 micron sterile syringe fiilter"

Those are the two major brands.
The GD/X and the PVDF are both good filter types from Whatman, but I doubt anywhere you call will have the entire line.

You should read the "micron filtering" link in my signature. You will also need bacteriostatic water, leur lock syringes, sterile vials.

I'm not actually sure about that as I don't live in the US. I can do some research though. Do the UK sites that sell them definitely not ship to the US? Or is there a fear of the items being stopped at customs or something?

EDIT: Also, I have to admit I'm not sure how good the Sterifilts or similar filters would actually be for filtering Roxies. It's possible they might clog. Probably best to run the solution through a coarse filter first, such as a cotton or unused cigarette filter, and then through your better filter, like a Sterifilt (or similar), micron, or wheel filter. I've heard that people get clogging with some micron filters as well.

OP, where do you live? That would help us better determine what options are available to you.

Well considering they aren't. Illegal, I don't think so. I havee looked pretty durn hard for these and not found them here.

Can you order Sterfilt filters from http://www.exchangesupplies.org/shopdisp_S314.php (I am assuming that is not considered "sourcing" as I have seen links for filters on Bluelight frequently)? I couldn't find anything on their site that said they don't ship to the US, but you can call them and check. I know in Canada you can get them at needle exchanges.

This is an excellent idea. You can get them at the fast cash places too, like Money Mart etc. Then you will be able to order anything online that accepts credit card payment.
 
Yeah, I called and asked. That's a big nope. The pharmaceutical company that makes them will ship here, minimum order: 10,000.

Really? That sucks. To me they said you can order whatever quantity you want (minimum of 10) to North America but the orders have a shipping charge of 40% of your purchase price or £20 (about $30 US), whichever is higher. They also said that if the shipping costs end up not being that high that they will refund you the difference. Of course if you were only buying a few the high shipping costs would make them substantially more expensive. I wonder if they have changed their policy or something?
 
This was not exchange supplies, it was the french pharm company that makes them. I was trying to secure some samples for the needle exchange I volunteer at.
 
Jeez, I wish they still had roxies where I am! all the script doctors got busted(los angeles) so i'm stuck to heroin from a runner for the cartel its scary as hell picking up although it's the best i've had.....wish the old days were back :/
