I've heard rumors about an Iron Man movie for the past couple of years, and I was aware of the supposed film slated for next year, but I'm still skeptical, like I was skeptical about the Batman:Year One Aronofsky project. You hear about these great ideas...but it seems to take a reeeaaal long time before any substance is truly formed.

I never read it, but a great comic book for film translation would be Gen13, if only for casting hot girls.

All very good movies (imo).

As for superheroes, I like the first Batman and Superman movies, Both X-men movies and Hulk.

Spider-man was very true to the comics, but I didn't like the characters nor directing style.
Daredevil isn't as good as Spider-man.
Spawn sucked big time.

Tank Girl was alright.
I think the Blade movies have been pretty good and find the first one interesting as it has almost everything from the first Matrix movie (in terms of FX) but earlier versions. It almost seems they made Matrix 1 with what they learnt from Blade 1 and they made Blade 1 with what they learnt from Mortal Kombat 1 (which sucks royale).

There is no The Maxx movie!

Apparently Tom Cruise has been waiting to play the Iron Man.

I'm looking forward to seeing Hellboy but don't know when it will come out here in Aus.

As a kid i really enjoyed the 1st TMNT movie.

wrong. mtv made several animated shows out of the first 20 or so books. they later released a video of these shows on home video as a two hour movie.

i never knew it was a comic, tho.

yup and only the first 2 Supermans (altho' Richard Pryor was funny as hell in the 3rd one)

Hulk sucked IMO, tho the direction and cinematorgraphy was choice!
